Super helpful for B12 deficiency!
I have a b-12 deficiency, Gastritis and Pernicious anemia in a sickcare system that doesn't understand vitamins and bloodwork. It can be scary & extremely difficult to deal with. Having to try to save yourself is as equally hard. Going through compound contradictory health issues causes a lot of unfriendly symptoms. I was already clumsy. This helps eliminate alot of accidents. My husband likes to open my b12 for me. He uses this for me everyday. I'm super glad we got it. I highly recommend it to gaze alone. It's worth getting.

Makes ampule opening easy
Easily opens most glass ampules with ease. Used it for both Laennec and B12. The B12 has thicker glass, so I needed my other opener to etch the glass a bit for a cleaner break. This helps ensure a clean break. Tip for those who are new: hold your ampule within a ziplock bag while opening. If you do break the glass top (the tip of the ampule), it won’t go everywhere. I like this unit and recommend it.

This works!
This actually works well. I use the 2 ml opening to open my 5 ml ampoules. Sometimes the neck stays in the hole but I just tap it against the Sharpes container opening and the neck drops right out. No more broken glass to deal with or cut fingers.

Better for larger Ampules
The smallest size is a little long for our ampules and the glass gets stuck inside on occasion. Still better than doing it by hand.

Ampule top gets stuck
After breaking the top of the ampule off, the top piece of the ampule get stuck in the holder. It is very difficult to get out even with tweezers. You pretty much have to crumble the glass inside which creates a mess.

Glad I purchased, it’s a must have for opening glass ampoules. No fuss and so easy to snap open. No need to worry about any broken glass or injuries. Best to use one size larger than the ampoule so it dosen’t get stuck when trying to remove it. Highly recommended !

Tried it out for the first time today and it worked perfectly. It even has a convenient little hole in the top corner that I was able to attach to my keychain ID tag. Now I have it with me all the time 😜
