Anker 623 Power Strip

I bought this for my cruise in December. It worked flawlessly! The USB charging ports are their standard iQ charging ports, and 3 power outlets in the back made it easy to plug in my CPAP machine. Cruise ships never have power outlets next to the bed so I need this and an extension cord to connect to the outlet on the other side of the cabin. It is very nicely designed! The only thing I would request is that Anker get UL Approval for their power strips. The plug is listed but not the device. After all these years, I think I've been using their products for at least 10 year, they are still my go-to when I need cables, chargers, powerstrips, etc. Anker makes great stuff... period. Their quality is consistently great and I plan to buy from them again and again! You can't go wrong with them!

This is a great charging station with USB(3) and Power Outlet(3). As can be seen in picture, I am using all 3 USB with the quick charging always going to my Ipad. The back outlets are powering my monitors. It has a power button to shutdown the station completely. I did that while going on a long vacation. The only complaint from me is the cord length. I would like maybe 1 more foot longer as routing of the power cable loose some length.

Hi folks, I bought this for my son's crazy corded desk during COVID remote school bec it was chaos in his desk area. This one unit, surge protector is amazing bec it has a USB C (for more recent Apple products) as well as 2 USB A ports and 3- electrical 3 prong port. I wanted surge protection bec lord know no one wants their computer equipment to get blown out and and on and off switch and this one surge protector power strip has it all. I have recommended this to all my friends for their home office use or to organize the kids area. It's totally worth it and it is sleek in design so looks good. I called in recently bec I had an issue and spoke to Rochelle at Anker Customer support . She was kind and helpful and friendly to my crazy mom energy and solved my issue. I was looking for a travel surge protector for my laptop. I have a Dell XPS and it works well. I also do not have to bring my charger for the laptop as I just need and USB C to USB C. It supplies enough power to charge my computer for how I use it. Also has a port for a phone via USB A at the same time. The plug cord seems to be just the right length to be able to plug in to where I need in a hotel and have easy access to the unit. I do not wish it was any longer as it would be more trouble to pack. My old surge protector for travel did not have a cable so I was always having difficultly finding an outlet where it would plug in. Due to the prior surge's size it would not plug into a lamp outlet common in hotels and was a pain when I had to plug it in behind a bed. Now with this surge protecter it is no problem. Only con is that it is a little heavy. That said you save some weight if you do not travel with you power bring for you laptop.

The Anker 623 is a great desktop power and charging hub ... but be forewarned there is only one USB-C port. Seems this is the way of the future to charge via USB-C with 20W or even 30W available, this hub kind of shortchanges you. I bought this for travel and I think it's clearly too large for that. One nicety of this model is that all three of the outlets are turned 90 degrees from each other, allowing you to position larger AC adapters or smart plugs into an outlet without necessarily blocking another. I found that a Feit mini smart plug barely fit in one of the "sideways" plugs without pushing this hub off the desktop surface. (See photo.) Your mileage will vary with other plugs -- i.e. a Belkin Wemo Mini smart plug would be too wide and make this hub wobble. I ended up keeping an Anker 525 hub for the more compact size. Better for travel. Also the 525 has dual USB-C ports so I can charge/power an iPhone, MagSafe Battery Pack, even a Chromebook or laptop. On the negative side, the outlets of the 525 are parallel, so best suited for simple three-prong cords, not bulky adapters or smart plugs. Not an issue for me, as I want this to plug into shared conference room power strips in an office, and be able to power/charge multiple devices of my own without denying colleagues of outlets. Heck, with either of these you can share with your colleagues! If you plug a 20W or 30W charge adapter into one of the outlets of either of these products you will expand the charging capacity available to you. The 623 has a on/off button as well so that you can power down anything connected to it (speakers, monitor, etc.). All Anker products that I've bought to date have been high quality and well packaged -- even the "Used - Like New" items.

I have used this product quite well without any issue for about 4 months, and I was very satisfied with it. But suddenly at some time, one AC port didn't work. Then, I requested for a service request. Their support team was very responsive and the best. They decided to replace it with the new one. Return process was very simple, and they kindly shipped the new device even before they received my old one. I am using the completely new product now, and I am still satisfied with their product and service...
