Filmed over 14 months with unprecedented access into the inner circle of the man and the sport, this is the first official and fully authorized film of one of the mostcelebrated figures in soccer. For the first time ever, the world gets vividly candid and unparalleled, behind-closed-doors access to the footballer, father, family man and friend in this moving and fascinating documentary. Through in-depth conversations, state-of-the-art soccer footage and never-before-seen archival footage, the film gives an astonishing insight into the sporting and personal life of triple Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo at the peak of his career. From the makers of Senna and Amy, Ronaldo takes audiences on an intimate and revealing journey of what it's like to live as an iconic athlete in the eye of the storm.Bonus Content:Interview with Production TeamDeleted Scenes]]> Review: Excellent sports "bio" - Extremely well done film focused on different aspects of CR7's life - football, fatherhood, family, fame. Between a challenging childhood, a professional career at such a young age, exceptional athletic talent, worldwide notoriety and good looks, I'm impressed he's been able to stay on the path of success and not fall prey to the usual demons that haunt "superstars". Even though this is more like a curated version of CR7 (what else would one expect?), it's still fascinating, even to a non-football fan like myself. The part where he's berated by an American fan for not autographing her ball was so embarrassing (as a fellow Yank) and unfortunately emblematic of Merican sense of entitlement; SMH. Review: Worth watching!!! - Wow. Wow. Wow!!!! What an incredible film. Let me just say this, this man loves his family and his friends. It showed a man who suffers and sacrifices and strives for the BEST for his family and the sport he loves in the best way he knows how. This is one of the BEST modern films I've seen, in terms of showing the human person fighting and sacrificing. It also gets some incredible scenes of his adorable (warning: cuteness overload!) son, his amazing mother, his father, brother, and his extended family who fight for him everyday against a crazy world. Through hard work, suffering, failures and having a positive outlook on life, this film showed one mans journey to be the best he can be in every aspect of his life. And his mother *almost* aborted him. My father was *almost* aborted as well. Life is sacred. Life is a gift. Life is worth living.

Beautiful!!! Every CR7 fan should have this
Amazing! This film is a must for a Cristiano Ronaldo fan. It exceeded all my expectations. The filmmakers did a great job of completely staying out of the narrative. There are no interview-style shots; nothing scripted. You completely forget there is a camera crew involved. The pace of the film and tight editing make you lose track of time. There are no slow moments or changes in the flow. The content is very clear and, even with numerous flashbacks, there is no confusion. It is a very personal film without being awkward. "Real and honest" is the best description. You can't help but go through the same emotions as people involved. Any CR7 fan would already know all the factual information in the film, but watching it makes you feel as if you've now lived through all those events yourself.

Great movie gives you a better perspective of how Ronaldo really is. Very touching to see the struggles he had to go through and become who he is today

shows that he's a cool dad, but doesn't show him as a footballer
Overall the movie is decent and gives you an insight on a man who's life will probably never be compared to an average joe regarding his lifestyle outside his home. But when it comes to family he really connects or tries to connect with the audience and at times was very heart warming when it came to scenes with his son and him. Even though the movie is made by him and only focuses on his more human side I think that was the point. He's a douche on the pitch but outside the pitch he seems like a decent fellow. 3 out of 5 cause it was a bit too long and it never really went into the football side of him.
