Perfect Brush
Works great for my mini Golden Doodle. Very easy to use and the curved edges works well and appears to be easier on my pups skin. She tolerates bushing a lot better than before using this brush to remove the undercoat. Easy to grip.

It’s Worth The Money
This was recommended to me by a highly knowledgeable Maine Coon breeder. I have one of her beloved cats, and brushing them daily is a must. This brush really helps with that. I know the steep price may seem like a turn off, but it’s made with high quality materials. I know I’ll get years of use from it, and the Maine Coon loves being brushed with it. No static happens, with no shocks in her fur. It glides easy through her long fur, with virtually no snagging. She actually enjoys being brushed. It’s worth the investment for your long haired furry friend.

Best basic slicker
Out of all the slicker brushes I’ve tried and I’ve tried several, this is still my go to for almost all coat types. I’m a groomer. The ends of the bristles are polished and that’s what makes a huge difference. Fluffier fluff drying results in shorter amount of time. On the softer side but sturdy enough for dematting. Pricier but worth it. With proper care it lasts for years, and that’s using it every day.

I have been using this brush for 15 years
I originally bought this brush to use on my poodle but have been using it for my own hair. It works really well, my hair is fine and has static electricity when I brush it with a bristle brush, I don't get static electricity when I use this. Over the years I have had friends that were curious about my brush and have also purchased this pin brush to use. The great thing about it is, it doesn't have 'knobs' on the end of it to pull the hair. The first brush I bought is 15 years old and other than the gold lettering on the handle rubbing off from daily use, it's just like brand new. The only reason I bought another one is that I thought I lost it so I bought another. Of course a week later, I found my original brush and now I have 2, which is not a bad thing

I liked the brush at first as it let you brush ...
I liked the brush at first as it let you brush through more of the body very quickly without snagging, but its not a 5 as its actually much rougher than expected. I purposely bought this expensive brush because of the information on the Chris Christensen site about the "touch test" but actually this scratches my arm and the other cheap Lil Slickers brand doesn't. The metal isn't tipped so its rough. My dog who loved our night time routine of brushing now tries to bite me when I use this brush so my husband told me to throw it out. Thank goodness he doesn't know what it cost! I wont be using it anymore - poor puppy.

Great brush! Goes through hair like bu-tah.
I have the Christian baby slicker and loooove it! Great for mats on my Shih Tzu. However, I wanted a more gentle brush to use for everyday. This is a great solid brush. There IS a difference between pin brushes just like the slickers. (I used it on my thin, easily matted hair and it didn’t pull anything out. I turned around and ordered one for me)!
