Instead of playing as one character, you play through the stories of multiple people through the same disaster from different perspectives, which is really nice. Things that you wouldn't think matter do, and things that you think would matter don't. The thirst meter is gone and replaced with an entirely new system that depends entirely on your body heat and how wet you are from the environment. Haven't run into any glitches so far, but the system is such that it's probably entirely possible if you step in the wrong place at the wrong time. Really fun if you're a fan of the prequel! Review: works like a charm and is super fun - I am a fan of survival games, and I am a bit obsessed with catastrophic events.
