Used this on my new (to me) car, and wasn’t that impressed with the results initially, other than it was much easier and quicker than waxing alone, but it really did impress after applying a second coat after leaving for a day or 2, as recommended. The paint work and other surfaces were in very good condition to begin with, and after a good wash, and drying off, I set to work. I found the first coat quite tough to work with, and took quite a bit of elbow grease to get a streak free finish, but that was probably my fault by applying too much solution. The second coat made a world of difference, by following the recommended amount to use, and using the solution more sparingly, and the paint work, chrome-work, wheels and outer plastic came up a treat! Moral of the story is follow the directions properly and just use the recommended amount, it really made such a difference. Time will tell on its longevity and effectiveness, but on initial use, can recommend for a good finish to all exterior surfaces.

My car was ceramic coated when I first bought it and I loved the fact that it was so easy to clean with my pressure washer. Unfortunately over the three years I've owned it lot's of the kids around here seem to use it as a target when playing games out in the road. It had developed quite a few deep scratches and dings just standing outside the house. so I decided to repair it. Even though the original ceramic coat was miraculously holding up I of course broke through it to do the repairs. The original coating cost a fortune and I was reluctant to pay out this sort of money again, so I was looking for alternatives. One big problem is that I don't have a garage or any type of shelter so doing a proper re-coating would be difficult as it needs to cure for twenty four hours out of the weather. I had heard a lot of negative and positive reports on this type of quick drying short term ceramic impregnated polish but thought even though it is relatively expensive I would give it a try. I watched a lot of YouTube videos and spent a lot of time preparing the paintwork before as in the positive reviews. It was a lot easier to apply than the negative reviews suggested as long as you keep a damp micro fibre handy to deal with the streaks and the result is quite impressive. Now I don't expect it to last as long as the the original coating but it definitely has been a lot easier to clean as the dirt just washes off with a hose like the original coating. In fact when I got my new company van recently I immediately gave that a coating before the paintwork had a chance to get dirty. I expect I will have to do it again to both vehicles next year but it should get me through the winter and I have plenty left as you don't use a lot. So although it is relatively expensive in the first place it is a bargain in the long run and even though it takes a lot of preparation I would definitely recommend it.

This stuff is great and is now my go-to spray wax. Previously I used Turtle Wax's 'hybrid spray wax' which was also good, but this is better. Water beading is evident and you can see it slide off your bonnet on a fast drive. I've also used it on my car's panoramic sunroof glass and it has the same effect - thinking to apply it to my windscreen also. Obviously it's not a replacement of a proper professional ceramic coating, and I can't say (since I can't prove) it actually applies a ceramic coating...but regardless it is definitely doing something since you can feel it when washing and drying my car, and can see it with water beading. It also seems to leaves a deeper shine than Turtle Wax's previous hybrid spray and how it reflects sunlight. My tips having used it many times now: - It is streaky on dark cars, more so than other spray waxes. This is easily solved by using 3 cloths - not the usual 2. So use 1 cloth for the initial spray and spread, then 1 damp cloth to go over the same area (this is the key - it helps spread it evenly and combines with a bit of moisture to help buffing out), then 1 dry cloth to buff to a shine. No more streaks! - As a result of the above method - you can do more panels in one go. It's a bit of a no-no with car cleaning but I just spray the entire side of the car and wipe and buff the whole side. On cold or non-sunny days I think it's fine since it won't dry out if you're quick enough. - If you have time (rare for me) but a second application a few hours after the first makes it last longer. A single application seems to keep water beading for 2 weeks, after which it still beads but not as much. A double application lasts about 6 weeks of strong beading. The shine lasts much longer with either single or double applications though.

Good product when you actually work it in fully, it’s hard to know when that is tho because you think it’s all worked in but in the sunlight it’s all streaky and looks a mess. I probably wouldn’t buy it again

I'm sure there are better ceramic coatings than this if you want cough up some serious money. But value for money is 5 stars, even if I have to apply it every couple of months. Barely used any to cover an Peugeot 508. Went on very easy as I followed the instructions. Washed the car, then claybarred it to get rid of contaminants, then washed it again to get rid of claybar residue, then dried it, then applied this. I found it easier to put a couple of squirts onto the microfibre cloth rather than straight onto the body work, then just rub it in. Do a panel at a time (or half on the bonnet and roof), and buff it off with a dry cloth. Left no streaks, and was very slippy to the touch. The whole process of washing twice, claybarring , and applying took 4 hours. First wash after it was applied (using the Turtle Wax 53340 Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Wash & Wax Car Shampoo), bird droppings and dead insects came off with out the need to use an extra remover, stuff just doesn't stick to it. Like I said at the beginning, at the price, and how long it took to apply I don't really care if it only last a couple of months. I won't need to claybar everytime to re-apply it. The car looks ace, and rain just beads off it like brand new again.

Had high hopes for this stuff as it has had great reviews and testing of hydrophobic and longevity. However I found it tricky to apply and you really need to buff hard to get all streaks and spots removed, so it was quite laborious. I also didn't find the hydrophobic properties that stellar, even after 2 coats with 24 hour cure inbetween. It's cheap, though, and a little goes a long way. I found it's best spraying onto a micro fibre rather than directly onto the panel as it dries in very quickly.
