Hamilton Beach 3-in-1 Electric Hard Boiled Egg Cooker

Love this! It's so easy to make my eggs now. Simple to use and easy clean up. I use it to boil six eggs and they come out perfect. I have not tried boiling more than that but you could. The eggs come out perfect. It's quiet until it alerts you that the eggs are cooked. It's a nice size, not too big so easy to store.

Easy to use and cooks eggs perfectly making them easy to peel. I will never boil eggs again.

I bought this for myself last fall and loved it so much that I bought three more to give as Christmas gifts to friends. I have the one that cooks up to 14 eggs. I appreciate how quickly the eggs are ready and that the cooker beeps to alert me when they’re done. When boiling eggs on the stovetop, we can get distracted and overcook them. My one critique is that even when I fill the measuring cup to make medium-cooked eggs, the water seems to evaporate faster than expected, and sometimes the surface of the cooker turns brown. Some Bar Keeper’s Friend usually cleans this up. Aside from that, I love my little egg cooker and use it every week! Get yourself one! And get one for a loved one too!

its a great product. eggs peel super easily. heard about it on The Survial Podcast. the only things id fix is the power stays on and must be powered off with the button and the measuring cup seems to be written with kids cleanable markers because it comes off on your fingers. i have to be sure to air dry and not touch the letters as half of them are already smudged/erased.

It a great to make boiled eggs in! I can not do it better on a stove. Easy to peel!!!!!! Quick and perfect each time. I do not like green egg yolks. When they eggs are cooked too long and this solves my problem . A fun little chime goes off when they are done and into a bowl of ice water they go to cool immediately.

I'm a bit old in the tooth to need an egg cooker at this time of my life. I’ve been making soft and hard-boiled eggs since I was 10. However, I’m now looking for gadgets that do the work for me with no fuss or mistakes, That’s what this darling gizmo does. The hard-boiled eggs are absolutely perfect every time. It takes up very little space in a lower cupboard (a huge consideration when buying appliances, large or small). I’m still a stickler for doing soft boiled the old way. 3 minutes and 30 seconds make my perfect eggs. Always delicious and yummy. Would recommend this highly to anyone who 1) loves to cook, 2) loves hard-boiled eggs, and 3) wants and easier method.

I know there’s so many ways to hard boil an egg but this one works perfectly because you can also poach or do a little omelette in this egg maker and it can cook up to seven eggs at a time for hard boiling. It’s easy to use it’s easy to clean and I use it all the time

"I'm giving this only one star because the egg cooker is not usable in the UK without a transformer converter plug. It runs on 110V with a 2-pin US plug, which wasn’t made clear when I purchased it. I attempted to return it, but the return label is for the United States, making the postage nearly as expensive as the cooker itself. Since a transformer plug costs almost as much as a new egg cooker, I decided to cut my losses and buy a different one instead."

Muy práctica, me ha funcionado muy bien, hace los huevos de acuerdo al nivel de agua que le coloques y suena una alarma cuando ya se termina el agua, fácil de limpiar, excelente producto.

Superó las expectativas, fácil de usar no tarda en realizar su proceso; emite un sonido cuando ya concluye la cocción; buena cocción de blanquillos y brócoli, las yemas si las deja bien cocidas, el brócoli en su punto no duro ni tan recocido, queda excelente al vapor. En cuánto a su durabilidad del aparato aún no se puede opinar porqué es la primera vez qué se utiliza.

I bought this on a whim because it was cheap and I wanted something that could cook boiled eggs without waiting for the water to boil (traditional stove top way). At this price I wasn't expecting much but I've used Hamilton Beach products before and liked all of them. First of all, it's small. I mean really small and that's a plus because it takes so little space in the kitchen. It looks kind of cool as well (modern if you will). I've only had it for 2 days and I have not tried the poacher but it cooked hard boiled eggs to perfection. I filled the plastic goblet to the #4 level of water for 3 hard boiled eggs and they turned out perfect the first time. Time for cooking 3 eggs was exactly 12 minutes from plugging the unit on until the audible alarm sounded indicating that the cooking was done (it's not really an alarm but more like a small bell sound and it should be louder IMHO). On the stove top, I would have to wait at least 8-9 minutes just for the water to boil and another 10 minutes for the eggs to cook so I figure this little gadget is a good time saver. It's super easy to clean as well. The instructions are clear. On the bottom of the water goblet, there is a plastic cap that can be removed revealing a steel pin. There is absolutely no mention of this or its purpose in the instructions in English or French. One small observation about the unit : It mentions in the instructions to plug it in and then switch it on and off after use. On mine the switch seems to do nothing. If I plug it in, the red light automatically lights up and the unit starts. When the bell rings, the light stays on even if I push the switch to turn the power off. I simply unplug it when the bell rings to indicate that there is no water left in the tray. Is the switch faulty ? I don't know. It works as is and I'm not even sure why a switch is needed.

No es glamorosa, no intenta serlo. Pero hace lo que promete: huevos consistentes, sin tener que vigilar la estufa ni jugarle al adivino con el tiempo. La usas, esperas, y listo. Claras firmes, yemas en su punto. Sin complicaciones, sin ensuciar de más. Es de esas cosas simples que, cuando funcionan bien, te hacen preguntarte por qué no la tenías antes.
