Playmobil Pirate Raiders' Ship

It's Playmobil. It's a pirate ship. It's BIG. Is there really anything else to say about this item?! Our son, and now our youngest daughter as well, are both obsessed with Playmobil. For Christmas our son got 3 different Playmobil pirate ships. He LOVES them. They have so many different figures and pieces that come with them. And get this... they FLOAT. For real. Float all day long, tub, pool, creek. Whatever. This particular one you can also put a motor on! Motor is purchased seperately... that will probably be our next purchase. I am very impressed with the quality of Playmobil products. We have rough farm kids, and these toys are farm tough! Beware, this thing is BIG. Very, very, impossible to shove into a toy box, BIG. His pirate ships have their own corner of the bedroom now. But oh how he loves them!

I can't say enough about these toys. My son received the ambulance, police car, and pirate ship for Christmas. Once he opened them, nothing else mattered. I've watched him take pirates to the hospital in the ambulance and arrest them on the pirate ship. The pirates have come back home "good guys" and now they're on the police sqaud. This is exactly what I hoped for! We are seeing that amazing, imaginative play that most toys available don't foster to. They weren't hard to put together. I set all 3 up in about an hour. The ambulance required no assembly. I made sure to assemble before wrapping them up so they would appeal to him immediately. I will without a doubt buy this brand in the future.

My son loves his new ship!!! My husband on the other hand wasn’t very excited to assemble it haha. Lots of pieces and took him about an hour to finish putting it together but it was Worth it.

This pirate ship is amazing! My 3 old said he wanted a boat for Christmas and since he's been so into pirates lately we looked for a pirate ship. His face and excitement when he opened this on Christmas morning was so awesome! It is relatively easy to put together and he has been playing with it every day since. He loved it so much that we bought the island, hideout and castle fort for his birthday to make a pirate village. My boyfriend flipped his train table over and turned it into an ocean with a beach. These playmobil sets are amazing and I would recommend them to anyone! Well made and full of entertainment and enjoyment for my now 4 year old! I'm so glad I found these.

This is very popular for both my 5 and 2 year old. There are some seriously tiny pieces, but for what remains "loose" nothing of terrible importance should they get lost or be held for safety reasons. I actually built this for my son, to give Daddy a break after he assembled most Christmas presents. I don't hold my building skills in high regard, but this assembled quite easily. It was a little frustrating that similar pieces weren't grouped together (the bits to connect the sails are pretty much one piece per plastic baggy), but if you give yourself some space to spread out, it won't be a problem. Some of the pieces disconnect a bit frequently, but nothing major. For the most part, the pieces that disconnect can be put back together by the littlest kid. The cannon, obviously is a highlight, and the wheels on the bottom make it very easy to sail about the room. This was my first venture into Playmobil (an expensive first step, so I did sweat it a bit), but it's been a hit and I'm sure our collection will grow. I was very impressed with the construction and durability. My boys can be rough and this has held up super well so far. The figures are a great size; small, but not so small as to easily get lost. I can't compare it to other Playmobil sets, but it is leaps and bounds ahead my expectations for a pirate ship.

The quality and detail of this pirate ship is superb. The directions for putting it together were not difficult to follow. First thing we did to help us find pieces more easily was carefully pour out contents from each little bag onto separate dinner plates. And we used the whole dining room table to assemble. So give yourself a big work space and lay out all the pieces beforehand within reach. Also highly recommend assembling a couple weeks ahead so there's no pressure of the last minute rush and the mistakes that can result from that!! Once assembled, this is a beautiful ship. All the details work and the pieces all snap easily together. Our 4-year-old grandson was very enthralled by it, particularly the firing cannons. The finer details like the anchor were a little over his head, however, and I can't help thinking he'll be more ready to make the most of this ship by age 6 or 7. I love the Playmobil toys with their rounded edges better than Legos. Excellent workmanship. This big and sturdy ship rolls on the ground and floats in the water. It should last for years to come!! Well worth the money we spent on this!!

Great detail. My son is 2.5 and loves pirates right now. This floats in the tub with him and there are countless hours of imaginative play to be had here. The sails and rigging are well designed and are tough, also waterproof. No strings for the sails, they snap into place with a clever system. German design and quality.

Purchased this for our 5 year old grandson for Christmas! The quality is impressive! We just know he and his dad will have lots of fun putting this together and using imagination! Nice to see quality toys that still encourage imaginative play

I used to have Playmobil toys as a kid myself and always remember them fondly so bought this for our kids this Christmas as they're now into pirates and big enough to enjoy something like this. They loved the pirate ship! Assembly took a little bit of figuring out and maybe 45 minutes, and like always with Playmobil toys it's well-made and well thought out. The sails are not too fragile, the whole thing feels pretty solid. So far it's been played with on the floor and in the bath a bunch of times - the wheels for floor use are a nice touch. Overall the ship is pretty large, but floats well and is also at home on dry land. The working cannons are a bit weedy but the kids loved them and shot at things for ages with them. Playmobil toys are not cheap, but quality wise they don't seem to have got worse since I was a kid (not many toys I can say that of) so they'll last a whole childhood. My only suggestion would be to include more people and less tiny plastic accessories - the little pirates are being played with a lot, with the boat - the various tiny plastic detritus such as swords, goblets etc have already joined al the other plastic bits in the toy boxes, never to be seen again. Overall good, if you can buy it on sale do so - but Playmobil please please include more little people and also cannon balls, there's only a few and they're getting lost already. You can keep the rest of the tiny bits in exchange! :)

My son requested this for Xmas, and he was thrilled. I spent a couple hours putting it together, but no big deal (and I actually enjoy that kind of thing). Playmobil stuff is so well- made and every detail is perfect and well thought-out. Lots of moving parts and working cannons. even a little pet monkey and barrels with lids!
