All measures are in inches or fractions of an inch
Its a lovely book BUT its American and presents all measurements in inches or fractions such as 1/8ths or 1/32nds. Having soentvyesrs neasuring in mm this is a real pain. The book helpfully provides formulae for working out sizes etc - again in inches. All references to suppliers are US based. So on the one hand its a lovely book, on the other its not going to be easy to use if you're someone who routinely uses metric measures. I feel this should be made clear in the product descriptions. Its like using an American cookbook where measures are in cups rather than grammes. My 3 star review reflects this drawback.

Disappointing introduction to cartonnage
Promises project-lead learning but there are only a handful of basic projects. Better off buying one of the more advanced French books and learning to read French!

A good guide
A good book with lots of well presented descriptions and ideas. As others have said the one thing missing from it is how to do dividers/partitions which would have made a great addition.
