A New York Times Bestseller Now a Netflix series! When a tragic accident leads Jackie to move into a house filled with eleven boys, she gets far more than she ever expected. This sweet YA romance is perfect for fans of Kasie West and Jenny Han―and is one of the most beloved Wattpad books ever! Moving in with eleven boys was not part of the plan. Jackie's goal is perfection―perfect grades, the perfect look, getting into the perfect school. If she can achieve that, then maybe her too-busy mom and dad will take notice. But when her parents die in a tragic accident, Jackie is shipped off across the country to live with the Walters, her new guardians…who just happen to have eleven sons (plus a daughter who is basically one of the boys). The Walter boys are loud, dirty, annoying―and, okay, some of the older boys might be Greek god level hot, but they don't think a city girl belongs on their horse ranch. How is Jackie supposed to fit into their chaotic world when she needs to keep her parents' memory alive by living up to the promise of perfect? But as Jackie spends more time with the Walter boys, she begins to wonder if the perfection she's always strived for isn't the only way to find love after all. Funny and moving, My Life with the Walter Boys is perfect for readers looking for: Wattpad love stories contemporary romance for teens binge-worthy YA novels relatable characters

Great read!
A love triangle is always worth the time to see if it turns into a good story and I’m glad I gave this a try! The characters are all interesting and the plot is believable. I love fantasy, but sometimes you just want to read something real and still get lost in the story and characters! I highly recommend if you like down to earth love triangles!

Good book
Before I begin, I’d like to note that I read this as an ebook so I didn’t go through the struggles of messed up books.Id really give this book 3 1/2 stars. I read this book after I was about halfway through the television series and decided I wanted to compare my notes with the book. And honestly, I wasn’t the most impressed. It’s not like this is a bad book, but I’ve read better ones. But still, congratulations to writer such a hit book, Ali Novak! Now let’s get down to business. What I liked about the book:First, I think there was a nice flow to the book, and all the characters surface-level personalities were easy to learn. At first I though I could never remember all the characters, but I quickly could see the difference between Jordan and Lee. But you didn’t hear much about the younger children I’ll say that. I do think the book moved a little quickly though, I think the reason I thought that though is bc the television series added a lot more things like Will and Haley’s relationship and selling the farm to another character (that wasn’t included in the book). But that usually happens. 👍What I didn’t like about the book: there was really no character development at all. It honestly felt like you didn’t hear much about coles scholarship and didn’t deal with anyone’s problems. Also, when Alex and Jackie were admitting things to each other, it just felt really random and it was nearing the end so the author had to do this. Another problem, dealing with the grief just didn’t feel right. And Jackie never actually faced her families death at all. When I lost somebody, that’s not how it felt.Overall, if you want a quick book to read or maybe a book club book to start with in your club, you could choose My Life With The Walter Boy’s.

READ THE BOOKS INSTEAD OF WATCHING THE SHOW
The book is SO much better. I genuinely like all of the characters in the book. The ones in the show got on my nerves all the time. It was extremely annoying. This book is so good and I would definitely recommend to teen girls and young adults. Jackie is a good main character you can sympathize with, and the book doesn’t make light of her situation. It’s about her life, not just the romance.Content warnings:There is cursing throughout, with only one major obscenity (GD). There is obviously kissing but it doesn’t go beyond that. There are sexual innuendos (it’s a house full of boys, after all) but nothing graphic or anything. It’s all actually pretty realistic and not just throwing stuff in for “shock factor.”I really like this book and it is a great heartwarming story about coping with trauma and learning how to make the best of an uncertain situation. I’m excited to read the next book!

Predictable YA Romance
A predictable YA romance entry that resonates like a Hallmark movie. A very good choice for a quick “fluff” read, but don’t anticipate any great themes or motifs here. Character development suffers from too many characters and not enough work on back stories for some (like the cousins and Will and Haley). However, Novak’s work will be highly appreciated by many in the audience.I find the book far more enjoyable than the Netflix series, which changed many elements of the plot with a prime focus on the family’s financial difficulties.

LOVE LOVE LOVE
I LOVE this book! I finished it yesterday and I cried because it was over. It was not sad at all - the ending was one of those endings where it's happy and sad at the same time (you'll know you what I mean when you read it) - I just did not want the story to end. I'm still trying to bring myself back to reality and trying to make myself remember that it was fiction, but when I do that it makes me sad all over again!I loved Jackie. She was a great main character; she wasn't annoying and she was confident. She handled herself very well when she talked to the boys; they were gorgeous I probably would've just fainted at their feet. Even when some of the Walter kids were complete jerks to her, she stood up for herself and handled herself well. I didn't like some of the choices she made, however.I loved Alex. He was incredibly sweet and adorable and his a Jackie's relationship toward the end made me so sad. I want someone like Alex in my life. I think everyone needs an Alex.I also loved Cole, although he annoyed me throughout the story. He was always with another girl, and I know he was supposed to be your stereotypical popular hot guy, but he annoyed me sometimes. My heart melted at his an Jackie's scene at the end.I loved all the characters. Katherine (her gaurdian) was really nice to Jackie. And (most) of the Walter kids were fun, funny and nice. If I was Jackie I would lose my mind, but eventually warm up to their craziness. But just thinking about living in a house with TWELVE BOYS gave me anxiety. But, it was a FANTASTIC book! If this turned into a movie, I would audition, or be at the movie premiere!I can't believe that Ali Novak started writing this book with she was only 15. That blew my mind!I HIGHLY recommend this book! My heart is still broken that it's over. But I will DEFINITELY be reading this again!

Different
Let's just say that this book is nothing like the actual series. I thought it would be just like watching it on TV, but there are certain details or events that are completely different. Other than that, it's a very good book, although it's confusing if you're watching the series at the same time.

Trigger warning - cliff hanger
This book ends on a cliffhanger and there is no second book inside as of right now. Although, I did see when I was googling for a second book that she is considering writing a second book on these lovely characters since the TV show has been such a great hit and is moving along to a second season. I absolutely love the dynamic between Cole and Jackie both in the book and in the TV show. Cole is just broken and heartwarmingly smoldering. I personally feel as though the casting of Cole Walter in the TV show is spot on. Now I know that Alex is a sweet boy, but I never really jived with his personality with Jackie. She is such a straight laced person she needs someone that pulls her out of her comfort zone and makes her more. Cole Walter does all that and more for her. I want to call Walter in my life

I did not received this one =(
I stumbled upon this series on Netflix by complete accident and just couldn’t stop watching. I was dreaming of a second part, and then I came across the news that a second book had come out — and it turned out that the wonderful Ali had written two books! I ordered both of them! But to my great disappointment, only the second one arrived. I’m trying not to get too upset and have already started reading it. I’m thrilled! I want this book any way

"O paraíso dos garotos"
Com o livro a gente consegue entender melhor as atitudes da Jackie e de Alex e nos apaixonamos perdidamente pelo Cole, apesar de ameaçar ter um triângulo amoroso aqui, ele passa bem despercebido
