I do my own nails at home. Loved the variety of colors. They are the same as my other brand gel polish. Sheerness- Takes several coats just like other brands. (Apply thinner coats for better application and curing) Lasted me 2 weeks just like other brands. I read a ton of reviews before purchasing. If there are issues it's in the application. We are in the middle of a remodel so hands were used with that. I would highly recommend as long as you know how to do gel nail polish. Make sure you prep your nails appropriately, apply a base coat, apply your color, cure between coats. Apply top coat. Thinner coats are better. Make sure you put on edges of nails as well. I took my time and applied correctly and it lasted as long as if I had my nails professionally done at a salon. Actually had a nail tech I ran into in Sally's tell me she loved my nails.. when I told her I did them myself she was amazed said they look like I went to salon. People who complained about the sizes of the bottles are ridiculous. They are the same size as my others that I've spent $10-$15 per bottle for. (They are smaller than regular nail lacquer if that's what they meant) it tells you the exact size of bottle in description. If you look at picture you can see size on the bottle. This is a heck of a deal!! The bad comments about color dot on the front of the bottle not matching...well that is true-ish. If you've done gel polish before it is not exactly the same shade of color on the outside bottle anyway. I look at those types of complaints just like people complaining because their ice-cream is too cold. So take majority of those complaints with a grain of salt. If you truly know how to do gel polish you will love this product as much as I do! I would definitely purchase again especially other packs of colors. You would remove the same as other gel polish brands. Scratch top coat with finger nail file, use cotton ball with pure acetone and wrap in tinfoil or I use press and seal wrap. Usually takes 15-20 minutes. I do while I'm watching TV. This process is same as other brands and if you had done in salon. Use orange stick and slides off. May take little longer on some nails than others depending on how many coats/how thick you applied. Any brand of gel polish takes a bit to apply and take off. Gel polish is a detailed process. It's not like slapping on a coat or two of nail lacquer and going about your day. I love quality, quantity for the money and the fact I can do myself at home. They hold up better than regular nail lacquer that barely lasted me a day before it would chip all off or peel off. You will be very happy with this product if you know what you are doing and apply correctly. I'm sorry, I forgot to take pictures.

I really liked the colors and consistency of the gel. It’s pretty good, they’re not too thin, two coats could be enough but I decided to do a third one just to be sure. Most of the negative reviews I’ve seen are mostly because of user error. Gels have a learning curve! Watch some YouTube videos or read some tutorials and make sure to follow the steps closely. A few tips: - Make sure your nails are CLEAN, wash your hands, file your nails and gently use a buffing block to remove the shine on top. Wipe them with rubbing alcohol to remove any oils or dust. Then wipe them again. And a third time to be sure. - STAY AWAY FROM THE CUTICLE. If the polish is touching the skin it WILL peel off. - Don’t touch ANYTHING while doing your nails. Put your hair in a ponytail and don’t touch your face. Go to the restroom before starting to work on your nails. - Don’t touch your phone either. You’re not as careful as you think you are. - Thin layers. THIN. If you put on too much it won’t cure properly. It’s best to have more thin layers than less thick ones. - Take your time. You can’t rush gel nails. It’s worth it though. Update: Added a photo for day 6 of the manicure. It held up incredibly well! I was on a trip 5 of the six days and it involved a lot of packing and unpacking, pools, sea water, sand and running around after kids. It had minimal chipping and only lifting on a couple of fingers that I didn’t do that carefully and touched the skin. Also I got another free set of polishes after the original review! So I decided to change up my mani. The glitters are holographic! And soo pretty, I just can’t stop looking at my nails.

I have been using Gellen nail system for over one year. First, the positives...they have a beautiful variety of colors. When cured correctly, you get beautiful nail salon quality results. On my toes, I have found that the polish lasts for weeks. Another bonus is that I never have had to soak this polish off. It peels right off. Now, for the negatives...some of the colors are not a bright or bold as they appear online. Some are quite sheer no matter how many coats you put on. Also, for some reason some colors do not cure correctly. Sometimes the top coat shrinks and does not cure correctly. This is a mystery to me since using the same application technique, I will have 4 fingers that cure correctly, and 6 that do not. Lastly, this nail polish does NOT last for weeks on your fingers. I don't care what anyone says, it just doesn't. At best, it lasts 5 days. At worst, the polish is peeling off the next day. Overall, I like and would recommend this gel nail system for a quick mani/pedi.

I love these polish colors! I have been using Gellen for almost a year now and this is the best color pack I’ve used. The colors are very pigmented to where you almost don’t even need two coats. I have a few other color packs that are not as “true to color” but they still look pretty, regardless. I actually prefer using Gellen over getting my nails done at a salon. The Gellen polish lasts at least 7-9 days before it starts peeling up at the nail bed (may last longer on some people I would guess). I haven’t found a way to “soak off” yet so I end up peeling them off and it does damage the nail a little bit. I usually wait some time before reapplying to allow time for nails to heal. I rate this product 5/5 because it does what I need it to do: stay on for a vacation or special event, and is salon quality. I’m not one that needs my nails done all the time, but doing them here or there for special events, this product works perfectly.

Love the colours! Depending on the look you are going for you may need multiple coats. I found 3 was the sweet spot for myself. Hold up for several weeks without chipping or peeling.

colours look nice and last for a good 3-4 weeks - however the colours aren't as pictured - Pink in Macaron series is actually more of a light baby pink with a little glitter, for example. Still some of the best polishes I've used, overall pretty good quality

I was a little skeptical to buy a pack of colours when I didn't know the quality of the polish and didn't know exactly what the colours would look like. However, when the package came I was so excited to see that all of the colours are beautiful. They are such nice neutral colours that you could wear them anytime of the year. The quality is so good as well. They go on so smooth and they last! You won't go wrong with getting this pack. I am looking forward to buying more colours of the Gellen Gel Nail Polish.
