REXBETI 12 Piece Slotted Phillips Screwdriver Bit Set, 1/4 Inch Hex Shank S2 Steel Magnetic 3 Inch Long Drill Bits

I bought this set of bits to go with my recently purchased Metabo HPT electric screwdriver. The screwdriver is very nice, but it came with only one bit, a #2 Phillips. This set of 12 bits fills out the screwdriver kit nicely. It includes all of the most common sizes of Phillips and straight-slot screwdriver tips... (2 ea) #1, (4 ea) #2, and (2 ea) #3 Phillips; and (1 each) 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm straight-slot bits. These bits are all 3 inches long, a very convenient length if you find yourself dealing with recessed screws. The package tray the bits come in could be used for organized storage, but not very conveniently. I put my bits in a plastic pill bottle, which works just fine. I'm happy with my purchase.

Two problems I've had with my DIY screwing/drilling work were: 1) Being unable to hold a screw in place while trying to install it with a powered drill and 2) Having drill collar clearance problems in tight spots. These bits solved both of those. The magnetic bits allow me to keep the screw in place as I'm positioning the drill while holding the part being attached, especially when there is not enough room for my fingers to hold the screw. The longer shanks on the bits allowed me to feed the screws into tight places, but be able to keep the collar far enough back that it stayed out of the tight work area. The last job I used them on was installing brackets to hold blinds inside my windows. The brackets have a top to screw into and a bottom that holds the blind and has holes to go through for installing the screws. Regular screwdriver bits are too short, but these were the perfect length. Having the magnetic bits allowed me to free up one hand to hold the bracket in place. I can't speak to the durability yet, as I have not used them extensively, but so far, so good.. These bits helped me finish the job much faster and to keep my bad language in check.

Descent bits for the price. Fit my Wiha and Malco handle just fine. Tight fit to the screw head. good for general homeowner

I wish there was less of a flea marker quality to amazon but the quality of things have been falling hard. I went ahead and kept it but I'm gonna have to buy another set made of a material stronger than the screw with + heads that were sharp enough it doesn't create one way screws. If you wanted to create one way screws this would work. It strips the head as it tightens until the head of the screw is completely warped. They all have blunt tips which is disappointing.
