Draw Write Now Workbook 5/8 Ruled Review: Excellent - My family uses these in our homeschool with the Draw Write Now instructional books. These books are wonderful for keeping handwriting practice and drawing practice together! A must have when using this curriculum. No issues at all and my children love using them! Review: PERFECT! THIS IS THE HANDWRITING WRITING BOOKS FOR THE DRAW WRITE NOW SERIES... - This is the drawing and handwriting book for the Read, Write, Now series. It has more than enough lines for your child to write, so do not worry if their letter formations are large. They will have more than enough space. There is also a drawing space up above the page. Again, there is more than enough space for your kids to draw. You can also use this workbook for creative writing prompts. You don't necessarily have to use it with the Draw Write Now series. PERFECT for getting your kids to write. My 6 and 8 year old love the series!!!!!!!!

What is it? Oh!
I found this series but wasn't sure what the workbook was as the description is simply a generic description for the series. The workbook consists of 23 sets of pages set up for drawing and writing, plus a 24th drawing page and a title page with room for the owner's name and self-portrait. The book actually opens with the binding at the top of the page instead of the left. Once open, the top of each page spread is a spot for drawing a picture and the bottom page is lined with handwriting guides. I plan to use it with a 5-yr-old who wants to learn to draw and is learning to write short sentances. It's also perfect for young author/illustrators to create their own books.

Great product
Ww use this along with Draw, Write, Now books for extra small motor skills practice and handwriting practice. We use this as part of our homeschooling. My daughter loves it.

Great way to collect student's work
I love this workbook designed to go along with Draw Write Now. I originally purchased 12 of them for a class set and it was a great way to collect student's work throughout the semester. I loved it so much; I am now using them at home for my own children!

Perfect to complete the Draw Write Now series!
This is the perfect companion to our Draw Write Now series. We do two lessons a day to start our homeschooling after breakfast, and it’s a household favorite. There are plenty of lines, so I don’t have to worry about the kids running out of room. My sole complaint is how thin the paper is. There is A LOT of crayon/pencil transfer that occurs when you look back on previous pages, and even though the series suggests tracing your drawings in felt tip pen, it bleeds even worse. I’m pretty bummed about it, because I love looking back on previous work to see how the kids progress, but they are all so damaged. (I added a photo of the pen bleed.)

Perfect companion for Draw Write Now Books
Nice quality and a great supplement to go with the draw right now books. Gives my daughter plenty of room to write and draw. Will be buying another one for my younger daughter.

my kids like drawing as they are learning to write
This is a consumable workbook, but we are making photocopies of the individual pages for the kids to use at home. This series of books has been tremendously helpful to my family; my kids like drawing as they are learning to write, and I get an "art lesson" as I help the kids to use the books, too!

I thought this book was part of the Draw Write Now series and required in some way for the course. It’s not. It’s literally just a notebook of blank and lined pages for children to write and draw on—which would be perfectly fine if it didn’t cost over $20. A dollar store notebook will do, this is a waste of money.
