Zilla Coconut Husk, Organic Reptile Bedding, Coconut Fiber, One size, Brown

I am incredibly impressed with the Zilla Coconut Husk brick shown in 665.png. I used to use sand and wood chips in my enclosures, but they were always a mess and never held humidity correctly. This coconut fiber expands effortlessly when you add water and creates a perfect, natural-looking substrate. It holds moisture beautifully without getting moldy, making it so much better than sand or wood chips for keeping the tank environment stable. Easy 5 stars!

I’m really happy with this bedding. A tiny bit goes a super long way, which makes it great value. It keeps my jumping spider’s enclosure at a steady, comfortable temperature and holds moisture just right without getting soggy. My little jumper seems perfectly content in it.If you keep jumping spiders or other small inverts, this is a great choice.

I love this will definitely be ordering again.Has a really nice texture to it and have no molding as of yet, unlike other brands that have molded almost immediately. I was recommended this as an alternative for my bearded dragon to lay her eggs and she loved it. My chameleon also loves this mix instead of the other type of bedding that was in with her. A lot softer and less smelly.

Lasts for a WHILE it's takes a while to fluff up but even then it's a good for substrate so long as you keep it damp! (You don't want them to get any stray debris in their eyes)

Great quality, great amount, great value for the money. I use this in a snake enclosure and it looks fantastic, holds the right amount of humidity that I require, and is easy to clean and maintain. I will purchase again the next time I need some more substrate! I mix it in combination with a few other substrates to make the perfect mix for my reptile

Pretty solid haven't had any major issues. Nothing gross or dangerous, you get a lot and it has a nice earthy smell. Its nice and fluffy when loose but compacts very well, it was enough to add 4 inches of dirt to a 24 in tank

My spood is going into her first molt while in my care. At first I did not ad substrate to her enclosure, but as she started to pre-molt, I knew consistent humidity was vital. I added the substrate and have been able to keep a constant humidity without issue. Highly recommend!

Make sure you soak in water for a few hours, but works well with my tarantula!

Super nice, got for my baby anole terrarium. one brick goes further than I thought. I found the occasional little pebble in the brick but that’s okay

Really good, makes lots of bedding. It does take a bit longer than 10 minutes to fully absorb the water though, maybe give yourself closer to 30. I had a few clumps to break up but not difficult. Great value.

I cut pieces of with my power saw for plant, cactus & flower pots, worm bedding, lizard bedding, TONS of uses.A small piece expands in water quickly and retains moisture well.Only one star off because it's much cheaper in volume but most of us aren't using it for high volume hydroponics/ gardening so it kind of bugs me that it's getting so expensive and less finely chopped.Otherwise, it's a good product.

Awesome quality reptile bedding and a little goes a long way. I bought thinking I would use the entire brick but when I fluffed it, half was all I need for my crested gecko enclosure. Great price and my gecko loves how it retains heat and humidity!

Did not expand properly like other brands I’ve used in the path. Used the correct amounts of water and followed all instructions, which claim to expand in 10 mins. After an hour there and lots of stirring there was still large un absorbed clumps, very hard to break up smaller, ended up just throwing away.
