Simple, effective, and fun
This is the best gadget ever! So much better than traditional throwers that make you have to wind up and throw like you're swinging a baseball bat. This thing is easy to use and worth every penny! The trigger was tricky at first, felt like I couldn't pull it hard enough, but it's because you have to rock it at the top of the trigger, not the bottom and then it's super light touch. There's also a slight learning curve for cocking the arm back and for the angle to hold it so that the clay comes out the way you like, but all in all, it's not hard at all and so freaking awesome!!!

Good product but tough to set up
It’s tough to set up. You have to fine tune the spring and the exact location you load your clay. Otherwise, it wobbles and doesn’t go far or it just breaks on the throw. Once you dial it in, it works well.

Reliable thrower
Thrower was working first time very reliable in a 3 positions : one clay throw, one on one clay throw (in a same direction) and one by one clay throw (in 2 opposite sites directions) - ! Working very stability for 180 clays.Need just always make control on a spring handle to save same power for throws.THANKS ! WILL RECCOMEND FOR MY FRIENDS AND EVERYBODY !!!! Very nice tool.

Broke first time using it. BUYER BEWARE.
Bought it, and had it in the box for about 6 months before i got to get out and use it. threw about 4 clays. only about 25 feet. and almost impossible to get a frisbee angle on them. about the 5th clay i went to throw it snapped. Opened it up. piece of plastic inside literally just snapped forcing the spring back, and locking up the trigger release. Complete garbage now. Cost me about $80 and figure another $5 in clays. Didnt get a single day out of it, or a single well thrown clay. I wanted something lighter than the pedal thrower i have. And didnt want to bring all the car batteries around and buy electric so i tried it. Big BIG BIG mistake. save your money. plastic piece of junk with extremely low quality.

Really fun
Works as described and fun to use. Nice for new clay shooters as the clays do not travel near as fast as traditional clay throwers. Does not shoot double clays very well, it will they just don't seem to separate apart very well.

Fun, with limitations
Very neat idea, and over all works well. The trigger is a simple lever, occasionally it will stick with friction on the catch and may require some fiddling to get it to release. Spring tension is adjustable which adds a lot of variation to distance. Over all for my youth program it was a good value to add variety. Some of the kids actually enjoy running the thrower as much as they enjoy shooting the clays coming out of them. Would be nice if it would throw them further, but that may require more mechanics than currently in use to be able to cock the device.

Works Great
Lightweight and certainly worked well. Enjoyed an afternoon of shooting clays. I had about 3-4 Clays break on me out of about 70 clays that we launched. Follow the directions and make sure you position the clays in the designated area and this launcher will work just fine. It is not designed to launch doubles, however I did get it to launch doubles a few times. Best bang for the buck!

Trigger hard to pull
Saw this and loved the idea and so ordered one for my son-in-law to use with his son. Pro’s are great idea and very mobile. Con’s are that we could not pull the trigger with our finger. We had to use our thumb. There nothing holding the clay bird and easily slides around. What eventually happened was the trigger is so hard to pull we had to use our thumb which then puts the thrower in a awkward position and the clay fell out as the trigger released and the unit blew apart.

Spannen geht leicht, nur ist die Schleuder zu langsam was das tontaubenschießen nicht so herausfordernd macht.

Product works extremely well and appears well made and sturdy. It takes a minute to set up and another minute to learn to operate following the simple instructions provided. Very simple to use and really does throw a standard clay at least 60 yards with spring tension at 25%. VERY happy with product.

I saw this and thought it would be good to use alongside a radio controlled trap I've got to give a few different shot presentations. Even with it wound up to its maximum power I'm pretty sure that I can throw a clay further than this thing chucks it out.

It’s ok until a clay breaks in it then the small pieces get in to where the spring is Then it won’t work properly
