Impressive beginner's electric bass
Very impressed for my first electric guitar. It does all it is meant to do and seems to hold its tuning well, unless there are large variations in temperature (as expected). I also bought a headphone amp for it which is ideal but I have yet to try it with a small portable amp/speaker. The shorter scale length with a narrower neck is also ideal for my small hands. For the price it is a good buy as a starter for me.

So good for the price
This is the second time I have bought this model of mini P bass and they are fantastic value for money. The sound is great, a proper P bass growl or smooth depending on where you set the tone control. I have bought this one as a back up as I have been so impressed with the black one I have, and this one also didn't dissapoint. It has a very nice shade of red and £10 cheaper than the black so I have both. As the neck is a lot shorter and the body a lot smaller than the full size it is so much easier to handle and play, plus a lot lighter. I am using it in a band line up and it's definitly pulling it's weight. It is great for begginers and seasoned musicians alike. Buy one I assure you will love it!

Great guitar - but no case/bag as listed
A brilliant size for our children to learn on and first impression is it sounds great. Listing describes a fender gig bag being included and so does the Rufus search. This isn’t the case and is misleading. Customer service repeatedly failed to understand or help with this, so not an enjoyable experience.

Great bass
Great instrument, lightweight with good tone. I dont want a heavy bass and if you can play the same notes on a shorter scale its a no brainer too me. This is lighter than the Ibanez short scale. Looks great too.

Just buy it, ok?
I needed a bass for live performances. I am an acoustic guitarist who uses a looper. I have had the cheap black Benson base on the right of my picture for a couple of years. Not only was it poorly performing but also it was long and unwieldy. The new Fender mini P Bass is about the size of a standard electric guitar and feels so good to play. The unfinished neck and smaller body make it an absolute pleasure to use and it is much less unwieldy on stage than a regular basis. I have yet to check the set up and intonation but it plays fine at the bottom of the neck for everything I need so I am happy with it. It’s also has terrific punch in the low notes and with the town rode off it sounds fantastic. If you need a base for occasional use and you don’t want to break the bank this thing is brilliant value for money and beautifully made.

Great starter instrument
Love this bass. Very light and feels lovely to play. It needed the action raising which was very easy to do (Allen key included) You’ll know if this needs doing as the strings will rattle and buzz when playing. For anyone who doesn’t know how to do this check YouTube for instructions, it’s quite a simple task. Nice tone especially at the lower end, perhaps a little harsh at the top end but you can adjust that using the EQ on an amp. It’s a little shorter than a short scale bass so excellent for young players to get them going, or (like me) you want to learn but have small hands and want an easy starter instrument. I have an Ibanez Mikro short scale but it is much heavier and a couple of inches longer than this Fender. Speaking as a petite adult beginner with small hands and a short reach, I like the Fender more and it’s motivating me to keep trying. Can’t recommend it enough.

Worth every penny
Great for the price ! Definitely not like the cheap bass guitars of old , which were glorified firewood ! Great action ! I didn’t have to use the Allen keys provided . A great starter bass for young and old , or for messing around in the front room which is what I use it for . Most enjoyable

Cheaply made
First order arrived and the fretboard wasn't attached to the neck with a huge gap between them. Sent it back and the second order had gaps around the pickups where the pick guard has been shoddily cut. Played it for a while, and though the size was nice, and it was very light, I wasn’t feeling it.

Really Nice Bass
I am in shock actually! This thing plays great , sounds great, no cheesy frets like On inexpensive models, pickups sound good, just like a P bass only Smaller…you won’t be disappointed…and I’m A Spector endorser!!!

Great instrument
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Squier Mini PBass, really nice and punchy bass guitar. Small in size, almost like a Strat. Easy playing. ⭐️⭐️ The bass arrived with a faulty pickup. No sound. I asked Amazon would they be willing to give a partial refund, but I would have had to return the item abd get a full refund. The price I paid was discounted (Amazon Deal) so I would not have got a new bass for the same price. I usually always take my new purchased instruments to a luthier for a setup, so they changed the faulty stock pickups to other at the same time. Now it plays really nicely and that’s why five stars. Great instrument! 😎🎸

Surprising quality for the money
I injured my left hand, making it impossible to play long scale basses anymore, so I started looking around for short scale instruments. Along with bass ukuleles and mini acoustics, I saw the Fender mini and decided to give it a shot. Since I’ve been playing Fenders all my life it seemed like a no brainer. I saw the reviews that said they needed lots of set up and adjustments, so I was prepared for that. Maybe the techs at Fender read the reviews too, because mine was dead on perfect right out of the box. Intonation, neck, string height, pickups, all perfect. And I love the satin neck instead of the sticky gloss finish that Fender sometimes uses. I agree the strings are not the best, and that is literally my only quibble. I’ve owned a lot of basses over the years, but I think I take the most satisfaction from this one, because it lets me play real bass again. And for anyone who cares, it has a really nice “cool factor”. This is a great deal all around.

Parfait pour débuter
la rapport qualité prix est bien présent. C'est pas du Fender mais c'est pas non plus du bas de gamme.
