This was easy to install and surprisingly it made the mini-split install easier. You install half of the base half of the cover which gives you a good perspective on where you need to guide your lines and cables. I use zip ties to help me during this process. Once everything is in position and taped up it was a simple matter of putting on the cover (outer halves). The size accommodated the refrigerant lines (insulated), drain line and control cable, not to loose and not too tight. I bought two kits as I needed two wall 90's. I do wish they would have options just to purchase the fittings. As you can see in the picture I also used some 2" Black Convoluted Split Tubing to protect the refrigerant lines from UV. This was much easier than using the wrapping pvc tape typically supplied with mini-splits or using this cover kit to protect it. Got the tubing here on Amazon. I am happy with how this came out, both in appearance and function. So it gets my recommendation.

Was very easy to install (DIY friendly), looks great/great quality, and you are provided with plenty of ducting and options to configure as needed. I will buy again when I install another mini split in the future.

Since I just installed this line cover I cannot say how it will hold up over time but it looks great and works as intended. It seems to be to be sturdy and it should last for quite some time but time will tell how well it survives the heat/cold and UV from sunlight. I have purchased two of these and they did not come with any sort of instructions however it was easy enough to figure out how to get everything assembled.

The front of our house looks so much better after we installed the Hide-A-Line kit to cover the ugly, uncovered air conditioner (AC) line that the installer put across our house siding. (See before and after pics). The Line Cover Kit installation on the existing line went pretty smooth. I had to use a hacksaw to cut a slice in the back panel of the end piece to fit it around the existing pipe where it bends into the hole in the siding. Also, since I had to remove the original brackets holding the horizontal AC line in place, the AC line sagged over it's 14' length inside the line cover. I cut pieces from a roll of Galvanized Steel Hanger Strap and bent them around the AC line at 3 ft intervals, screwing them into the siding through the back cover panels, and this provided support to keep the AC line from sagging. The only real glitch I had was when screwing in the front of one of the coupler panels -- I over tightened it and the screw head snapped off, leaving the length of the screw in the plastic hole in the back of the coupler, so then the front of coupler wouldn't fit snuggly. I ended up ordering one new coupler section to replace that one. So, be careful not to over tighten the supplied screws when using a powered screw driver. I used the 4" line cover kit, and that left a gap around the end, where the AC line exits the cover kit, so I filled the gaps with spray insulating foam. After installation, the line cover was primed and painted by our house painters, and looks great.

I was very happy with the quality and fit of this cover set on my 18K Mr. Cool mini split.

These were easy to install and initially they looked great. After about 6 months the connections started turning yellow and are now almost brown. If you plan on painting them, this shouldn't be an issue. The other concern was for the mini-split I installed the lines were larger and barely fit inside the tubing causing condensation to build up on the outside and run down the front(not aesthetically pleasant). If I did these again I would look for a larger size if available and probably paint them immediately.

The channel tubes are well made. The fittings were very poorly moulded and made of cheap brittle plastic. It did the trick but I would hesitate to pay more than $35 for this kit.
