Sentence Writing Workbook: Sentence writing practice for kids 5-7, grades 1-2 writing workbook, word tracing, writing skills

Kids been practising on this, there hand writing has improved a lot. This book has taught them to spread the words out, write the letters bigger, then the page where you write your own story is great for kids to improve their story telling and writing skills. Have been teaching them how to structure stories. Will probably buy again once current book is complete. Basics (solid foundation) is always the most important for kids to have the best chance at being successful in high school and beyond.

Great practice writing prompt for beginners.

I’ve posted a video of the progress over about 2-3 weeks of doing 5 pages per week. It’s been perfect for what my child needed and I’m very thankful to have found this book!

Nice but overpriced.

First sentence reads : I see treasure. There are sparkly. This sentence make no sense and not a great start!! Returned.

Really like the size of the lines to write on and the pictures that help them make up the rest of the sentence, but does have American spelling and no cursive style which they are learning in school, but with a bit of tipex and a black pen to add a flick it can easily be altered.

My 5 yr old twins used this book and it elevated their writing skills and creativity by an entire level. They also loved it so much, I couldn’t get them to put it down!

I homeschool my son and who dislikes writing. This has helped him a lot to feel more confident in his writing. I love there is a line to trace and then a blank one to write independently. Giving the first part of a sentence to write and a page for creative freedom really helps to build confidence in writing.

Great handwriting practice for my 1st grader

I homeschool my kids and I needed a good writing workbook for 2nd grader who was kind of struggling with proper writing form. This workbook has been amazing for him. I absolutely love how the pages progress from highlight >> trace >> write sentence >> finish longer sentence >> write story. The format not only helps progress him into writing longer sentences on his own, but it encourages his story building skills. We break the two pages for each topic to two days and it works really well for us. We are about halfway through the workbook now and his writing skills have vastly improved. I highly recommend this book. It’s my favorite writing workbook that we have tried so far and I plan to see if there are more from this company for the next level after he’s done with this one.
