As I understand it the coffee beans are harvested from wild growing coffee bushes in the Yayu Forest. I think organic could only apply where the bushes are cultivated by humans using certified organic methods. These are just growing wild.

Is the packaging recyclable?

The packaging is of two parts for the 200g. The coffee bean sealed in the interior packaging is not recyclable. The cardboard outer is recyclable.
