Good
Good product and easy to put together. The stand is pretty sturdy and stable as long as not too much is on it and the white color is very pretty!

It's not bad! Although I don't know about traveling with it.
Surprised by the quality. I don't need a super heavy duty music stand but this is pretty good for the money. You can take it with you but I don't know how that will work out over time. I leave it assembled in my music room. There's a couple of little spring arms plenty strong enough to hold a music book open, and the height adjustment parts are pretty good quality. Rolled the dice and won on this one. If you travel a lot, I don't know how well it would do on the road, but it's good enough for my studio.

Excellent for Gigging
Really pleasantly surprised. I had a gig with our jam band in two days, and I realized I needed another music stand quick. Most were 40-50 bucks, but this one came in substantially cheaper (like half) with thousands of great reviews. I threw the dice not expecting much but it works like a charm! Used it this morning. Very light, but sturdy. Comes apart and can pack away in a case (included). Clips to hold your music in place. I was quite pleased, and I highly recommend it. I don't think you'll beat it for the money. And you sure wont beat it for the convenience and ease of use.

Good bang for your buck.
Easy to assemble. Works well as both music stand and a book stand. Good height, easy to adjust. Seems pretty well built, but time will tell whether it's durable. Comes with a bag to fold and transport, but it doesn't feel like it'll withstand much abuse. All in all, a great value for the price so far.

Terrific seller! Product has an Achilles heel.
Achilles was the mightiest warrior on either side in the Greek-Trojan war. He was invulnerable except in the area of his heel, which eventually proved his undoing. Will this stand hold up? Perhaps--but not if you're a musician who moves from place to place and who, moreover, tends to be a little rough or impatient with setting up the stand. My 5-star rating is for the seller (Kasonic), who immediately replaced my broken stand, no questions asked, no red tape to untangle. But before purchasing this, or a similar tripod stand, check out one small detail. It's the "triple-outlet housing," which slides up and down the central pole for assembly or mere adjustment of heights. It's one of the stand's most critical pieces because if one of the outlets fails to hold, its tripod arm is rendered useless and the entire stand falls flat on the floor. This is a fairly heavy-weight metal stand, as claimed, except for that one vital piece. It's a plastic housing with 3 outlets, each offering little in the way of support where a rivet attaches the leg to its channel. It broke during its 3rd use by my French hornist-colleague, who was merely adjusting the height of the stand. Perhaps my 1st stand was the exception, one with a weaker-than-normal 3-outlet housing. After owning a dozen alternatives to the sturdy but clumsy Manhassett, I had trusted the description and ratings for this product. Check to make sure the other 5-star positive reviews are from musicians who have used the stand repeatedly and for more than a month or 2. A similar stand is being sold by numerous, different sellers. If you decide to purchase, I certainly recommend buying it from this seller (Kasonic). But don't write a review immediately after setting up the stand. Instead, use the stand frequently throughout the first month (perhaps a motivator to practice more regularly) before submitting a review. And, if you're unhappy, be sure to use Amazon's convenient link for notifying the seller.

Portability and Sturdiness
Some stands are more portable, quicker to set up but lack the sturdiness and solid quality that makes this my preferred music stand. That said, it only takes a minute or two to assemble the stand. The large carrying bag can also carry my music books and binder and any of the accessories that I need. ..and it is sturdy as well. Since I play the Uke with several groups my uke and music stand are always ready to go.

Product better and more functional than advertised! THRILLED!
Sturdy? it holds 10 lb 3” thick science textbook with ease. No slippages with textbook or 15”, 5 lb+ hp pavilion laptop due to nice depth feature on the end of the surface area. Extremely portable, quick easy setup and take down. College science student needs access to 4+ surfaces within small study space in multi-purpose area without feeling confined, this stand helped make it possible. Another feature it allows consumer to use the product when they are tired of sitting: read, use laptop or original product purpose for music, while standing as well as using portable stepper device for exercise simultaneously using laptop on product surface raised angle or flat. Manufacturers packaging is too flimsy for shipping however ( rainy, hurricane season,) if possible request additional packaging (in some instances) offered by AMAZON.
