Exactly what I needed for MOBO with no headers
I built a PC for my son out of all my leftover computer parts but the case I got him, a Corsair SPEC-DELTA Carbide Series came with RGB fans which were not compatible with my slightly dated motherboard - they wouldn't light up and there was no way to control the speed. I wanted to get everything working for him and after a load of research settled on this little device. Essentially this plugs into the motherboard and the RGB fans plug into this via a splitter. It was easy to do and all works perfectly, fans spin, colours cycle all as it should do - Great!

Good length
Decent length, all the connectors work fine, come with caps to if you're not using all 5, they can't short or get dusty.

Works as expected
If you want something simple that does not require software to run and you are not bothered about changing your lighting constantly, this is the controller for you. It has plenty of different effects and various static colours. I connect mine to 5 strips using splitters and it runs without a problem. It's simple to use, very small and give you a nice range of lighting options. What more do you want for the price? I am giving it 4 stars because mine is a bit sensitive with its power plug and moving the power cable causes blackouts.

Good accessories for multiple options.
This controller supports both RGB and ARGB devices. It comes with plenty of cables to allow for fully independent control with the device only, or through motherboard RGB headers, or through the USB 2.0 motherboard header. Their are also a few male to male connectors in the pack for easy connection. It's a well thought out product and good value, especially considering potential future changes to your system and the lack of support that both cheaper and more expensive controllers offer.

Awesome!
Plugged the 3 fans that come with the GameMax F15M case + 3 DeepCool CF120 fans into this controller because my board has only the 12V rgb header, added quite a few extra cables to do so, but the case made cable management easy. The DeepCool fans do have a proprietary argb connector, but they plug into their splitter and that splitter can be connected directly to the 3-pin argb header on the motherboard - which in my case went into the CoolerMaster argb controller. My only gripe is with the app, Cooler Master MasterPlus, I have v102.0208.0317 and it seems that if I hibernate my PC then wake it up, the app crashes and when I reopen it the fans configuration is lost (that scheme thing with the 4 A slots to which you can attach fans and such), but the controller remembers the last color setup applied, so this app bug is just a minor inconvenience for when I want to change the colors.

You can't control the colour
If like me your motherboard doesn't support argb this works for getting your argb fans to light up. What's missing and really reduces it's usefulness is the lack of colour control. You can pick from several LED modes but the all resort to rainbow. For example 'breathing' will cycle through different colours. So very limited control, reading other reviews you might be able to solve this by buying a micro usb to motherboard header cable and control it through software. It also appears to have doubled in price, it would be a higher rating overall and for value for money at £10 but at £20, not so much.

Great argb splitter, better than any controller
Have just one working argb header on my motherboard so I used this splitter to connect my six argb fans (four daisy-chained). It's nice and long, easy enough to fold up excess cable and stuff in the back. The cables are nice and thick, so no worries about durability unlike those thin fan RGB cables. Comes with three rubber covers for the make connectors as expected along with a female-female connector in case you need it. Nothing else, small box, just what you need and it works. The cables bend easily, I'd say they're not too thick and not too thin, striking a nice balance of durability and ease of cable management. Would easily recommend over any finicky argb controllers. Keep in mind this is a 3-pin argb splitter, not 4-pin rgb. Has two inputs, one for gigabyte and one for asus/asrock/msi, easy enough to stow away the one you don't need.

I was racking my brain trying to figure a way to get all the drives in my case to work, they all work perfectly with the splitter and look great, managing the extension is super easy and if you have a gigabyte board with the 3 pin VDG header like me, this thing is a life saver.
