Excellent taste & quality . Family loved it , smelled good & the honey content was good too. Texture is my favorite tbh. Had to place the honey in that honey drip tray and cut it up when needed . Anyhow it’s 100% value for the money and will get more once we used up the current ones we have!

No idea why there a few lower then 5 star reviews, best honey ever I bought, I almost broke in tears, because smell reminded me of child hood when grandpa was harvesting honey, no other honey has that natural smell ans deep lasting taste that I bought from amazon or anywhere else for that matter.

I was sooo excited for this product! The reviews were good so I thought it would be a solid honey. I was debating buying it for about 3 months before I actually pulled the trigger. Now, I'm not so glad I did. I spent almost a hundred dollars and now I just have a huge chunk of honey that I can't do anything with. The taste was very horrible, I was surprised that honey could taste that bad. It was verrrrrrry bitter and sharp. It almost dried out my mouth as I was eating it, and basically it tasted like very bitter chemicals. I understand that the flavor changes toward the end of the season and become stronger, but I couldn't imagine the first batch being good if this one is THAT bad. I've heard this company is not very good with returns AND refunds so that doesn't help my opinion of them very much, just to add another thing. I would not recommend this to anyone. I was going to have a little wine and cheese party thing with this honey but I could never serve this to my friends, so the party never happened. It really sucks, I wish the product tasted like any other honey I've ever had

I was a little concerned because I read “weird smells” in some of the reviews. BUT- I decided to give it a go. This was NOT my experience. Great product and I plan to buy again.

I've tried a bunch of whole honeycomb over the past few years and you can tell this frame I've received has been on the shelf a little while but not too long as the viscosity is fairly average not too runny or thick and there's no crystallization. Color is good, however slightly light which has been symptomatic of the poorer quality honeys I've tried. Usually a nice medium dark amber is a better quality. Nevertheless the color and consistency being 4 stars, the smell and flavor were very off putting. I don't know if it was this particular batch, but I've never come across this particular smell/flavor combination. Some sort of pollutant either pollen or chemical based is easily detectable when comparing it side by side with a practically 1 year old honey I had left over from some acacia honey. This was a smaller frame than that one I had ordered which isn't currently available so I thought oh well try this one. Less bang for your buck all around! Id rather get raw unfiltered honey already in a jar so then at least I have a jar if I don't like it. Not buying again. Unless they send me a free new one and it turns out it was just that one batch. But if I got another batch for free and it tasted this way I'd likely feed it to the woods. RiP. Update: I got more of the acacia to compare side by side and the color is actually darker on this honey so part of the unique smell and flavor is probably just part of the local flowers available for the bees. The acacia honey is much fresher all around and slightly runnier by comparison but very clear. Foreign vs domestic products and honestly after being used to the flavor I appreciate the darker honeys full flavor. The feelings are the same, consistent with well managed hives. Good product, less good value.
