Was a gift and from what I hear it’s working wonderfully

This was a great microwave, easy to keep clean. However, it died yesterday at no chance of fixing it. It just shut off and won’t turn back on even when plugged into different outlets. We bought it in August of 2022. We are now out a microwave at the start of 2026. So it is not long lasting with weekly cleaning as other microwaves might be.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I like Panasonic products so when a replacement for my old microwave was needed, I stayed with Panasonic. A couple of "quirks": the "beeper" volume is low; the interior light doesn't light up all the inside; the led lights used for the time/clock are very bright especially at night; the turntable "jerked" when it rotated for a couple of days then became steady.

The oven looks good with stainless steel and meets or exceeds my expectations cooking or reheating.

Box was destroyed, packaging was all broken, and product sustained a dent. Seems to work ok. This was the second microwave ordered. The first one’s box was also damaged, and the microwave was not new. It has been returned at least once. Just tipping the box, you could tell everything inside was broken. Plus previous recipient left a note saying the child lock was on, so we couldn’t even open it.

Love this microwave! I was very happy to see that it has a child safety lock.

Easy to use and very quiet for a microwave. Heats things evenly.

My son preferred the "knob" style, as opposed to just push button for cook time set, so we got this version. I don't know if we got a "Bad one" or what but the knob is extremely touchy (sometimes without changing direction of rotation it will start counting downward for instance). IT just seems like bad design. We had the similar model that we purchased years ago and the turn dial/knob was great and predictable. I'll assume the manufacturing costs were lowered and the functionality and reliablity of the knob suffered. Also, setting the clock is a ridiculous amount of effort due to the way the increments work...if you need to change it by hours because power has gone out or it has been unplugged you will have to spin the dial dozens and dozens of times. Do not recommend.
