I am quite pleased with these pills. I had pretty bad heartburn last night and took 3 as directed. Within minutes the pain had disappeared. It did come back a little after awhile, but not near as bad. The black licorice taste was good, but it also has a bit of a chalky taste and texture. Definitely worth it if you can tolerate the taste of black licorice.

I have a mild case of acid reflux and these chewable tablets are my go to whenever I’m feeling pain. I’ve tried several brands of chewable DGL tablets over the years, and I stopped searching when I found these. I just put one or two in my mouth, chew them very slowly and swallow them a little bit at a time. I don’t drink anything for a couple hours after taking them. For me, they work quickly and I’m without pain in a matter of minutes. Great at bedtime.

It does work when I get acid reflux but only temporarily. Its not a permanent fix. I guess its healthier then PPi's or acid blockers. The ppi's last 24 hours,these last maybe a few hours. Its easier to take something once every day rather then many times a day like this dgl. Almonds work just as good or almond milk. Ginger candy works too but tastes nasty. I think the best solution is to sleep with your bed elevated,not eat 3 hours before sleeping,eat healthier,work out 3-4 times a week and take ppi's every other day or so. The too much stomach acid along with the too little acid thing seems off to me. I think there is normal acid in most of us suffering from gerd but our esophageal sphincter does not close up tight enough for what ever reason. Maybe something is in the food we eat or water we drink to paralyze it? I tried eating healthier and it helps but does not cure it. It seems the combo of things as i said above is the best way to go about it.

These were so helpful when I was coming off my PPI! I had wicked burning in my stomach and I kept up with these and also a marshmallow supplement and voila I’m better now. Highly recommended.

Sent me to the hospital after a couple weeks of use. Ended up causing my blood pressure to skyrocket to dangerous levels and required months of a low sodium diet to return to normal. It turns out that glycyrrhizin has a long half life, and any amount, even less than 1% can accumulate in your body over time. It blew my mind that a supplement with so many great reviews could have ended up causing heart failure or a stroke in someone as healthy as I am. I can now eat anything I want again, just like before taking this supplement, and have zero issues with my blood pressure spiking. I also discovered that just swapping my water for Alkaline 9.5+ water was all I needed to help reduce my acid reflux. Not being able to have much sodium in your diet for months sucks! But almost dying is even worse 💀

Don't buy this product. This will make your symptoms more worse.
