Very nice aroma

I bought this as a gift for an elderly neighbor who is a good friend. I always buy her a Yankee Candle to give her at Thanksgiving, so she can enjoy it through the holidays. In the past, I have given her balsam fir, pine, and autumn scents, but the Cranberry Chutney scent just grabbed my attention. I'm so glad I bought it. When it arrived, I told my husband that we need to smell it first, so he carefully used his knife to open the box, we uncapped it and both inhaled this beautiful scent! When my husband loved the scent, I knew it was a winner, since he's very picky about scents. We carefully resealed it, and long story short, she loved it, and lit it immediately and the wonderful scent permeated the room. It's hard to describe the scent, except that it smells like cranberry chutney! Only much richer. It's a beautiful scent and you will not be disappointed if you buy it.

update: I just finished burning this candle. It smelled nice and lasted many days. I also did more research on whether paraffin is toxic and it seemed it was possibly a marketing ploy to sell more expensive soy based candles. Paraffin is a petroleum based, non renewable material so that may give the plant based material an edge. Anyway, with what is going on in the world, maybe not a big concern. I feel this line of candles is especially economical as well as a good quality option. old review: Just saw videos on youtube saying paraffin is toxic and the scents in scented candles are irritants. Hmmm. I now realize why some candle brands tout the fact that they use a soy based wax. Not sure if that completely solves the problem. You still have the scent issue. I haven't noticed any ill effects but, in general, I think we have to cut down on environmental toxins where we can as they are numerous. Well, do own your research, I guess. I did not buy my balsam and cedar scented candle from this seller and there is plenty of scent to my candle. The candle also lasts a good amount of time. What I do not like is that the scent is perfume-y. I was looking for a more natural forest scent to compliment the look of my fake Christmas tree, lol.

Great product, nice scent. A bit too pricey

I love this candle. I’ve spent so much money on candles trying to find the right the scent and I’m always disappointed, until now. Finally a strong cinnamon scent. My whole Apt. Smells like Christmas. It’s expensive but it’s worth it.

Highly recommend this scented candle. Burns cleanly. Will definitely purchase again. A wonderful hostess gift.

Je suis fan des bougies yankee candle, vu le prix je me suis posé des questions sur l'odeur , le packaging (même visuel que d'habitude ou celui de la photo) et aprés avoir lu les commentaires j'ai passé la commande. Pas du tout déçue, le visuel n'est pas celui de la photo mais bien celui que l'on connaît. Quant à l'odeur bien évidemment il ne faut pas être allergique à l'odeur de vanille mais le parfum est tout à fait agréable et respecte ses promesses de "Christmas Cookie".

The candle arrived very quickly and in good condition. The smell is so good akin to Mandarine cranberry, which has been discontinued for a while. It smells a lot of berries and citrus. I like it in the toilet. The fragrance is strong enough to fill the whole room. Possibly even the whole house if you have an open area. Worth the amount paid on Amazon.
