They have saved a lot of finger smashes from uncoordinated babies slamming the drawer shut. But half of them either fell right off or start to peel off after a while. That being said they do work from keeping little fingers from being stuck. We have these on the drawers and cabinets that we allow our baby to play in, the others have actual locks. These are not for locking just for spacing. We also have them placed on door frames so when baby is playing with an open door it doesn’t close on their little fingers.
