The problem I have with this pad is it’s height. It only stands about half an inch off the table, so it does not provide a realistic feel for your forceps hand, slight lifting pulls the pad off the table. If you are serious about getting some practice to impress a surgeon in the OR, I would spring for a higher quality (and higher price pad). If you’re a student that just wants a little extra practice when it comes to throwing sutures and tying knots, this will be alright.
