I wanted short curtains rods to hang curtains on each side of my bay window. These rods were perfect for that. They were easy to install and easy to hang my curtains. I think they look great! I was looking for white rods but the pewter color works fine. I like that I can swing them open or closed. These curtain rods fit my needs perfectly

I ordered these because I have a couple narrow crank-out windows. I needed something that could allow the curtain to be moved out of the way when cranking window open/closed, or for emergency exit in a fire. These are very sturdy and look nice. My issue is that the rod slopes upward a bit from hinged end to knobbed end so curtain hangs a fraction higher on one side, and my curtain slips down over the curve in the rod (on the hinged end). I added a rubberband at that end to provide resistance against slipping...

Exactly what I needed for my garden shed door to keep bugs out. I used one on each side of the door with curtains of screen material. I can easily close them when inside or leave open for access. Works great.

Sorry did not work for me. They aren’t strong enough to hold a light weight curtain so will save for something else

This was the best purchase and gave great function to use with my organic rope lights over my bed and allows me to swing and position perfectly.

First - go and buy some new screws. It will cost you less than a drive through lunch and ensure you don't have broken off screws in your wooden door when you overload the swing arms and extend them out as far as they can go. I installed these on our interior office doors and they look great and work well. We do not have a need to extend the arms out, so I can't speak to how well they hold up when you load them up with heavy curtains and elongate the arms. I can say that with heavy cotton drapes and the arms fully collapsed, these are exactly what I wanted. They have not sagged, nor do they appear to be straining the fasteners. I bought the largest screws that the swing arm brackets and my door thickness would accept just to make sure I didn't run into issues like some of the other reviewers experienced.
