I wanted a backlit USB C keyboard. I like Macally keyboards. Since it seems there is no wired, backlit USB C keyboard yet, and wired is my preference because blue tooth just doesn't do the job effortlessly, I opted for this inexpensive white keyboard. You can see to type in quite low light. I have a darkish room for my computer and this is a great little keyboard. Keys are fast in response, quiet and so far so good. I rate it five stars because Macally makes a good keyboard, and this one is great for what it is. Not an Apple keyboard but the Mac Mini is happy. The Mac Mini has a lot of ports and that is the reason I bought it just before I purchased this board - about 6 months ago now. I also bought the expensive Macally full keyboard with the ports and the USB C but it is in the Space Gray like the Mini and as soon as it is dim in the room you have to peer to type. I love white keyboards. Always loved my Blue Tooth Apple keyboard but after only 7 years it has a few bad keys. I still have the old clacky Apple board with the see-through case and it works just fine even on my new Mini but it takes too much pressure to type on that baby. I long for a BACKLIT white USB C keyboard - please Macally...

Keyboard works great!

Was a cool little keyboard while it lasted but only after a month or so buttons started falling off. I was throwing it in my laptop bag so I can only remove one star but I was really hoping this would work for a good cheap travel keyboard. And it did, for a month...

I bought three of these keyboards during the prime day sale for my mac mini's. but after using one of the keyboards, it failed working after 10 minutes of use. for some reason the keyboard stops responding and becomes non functional. the blue led indicators kept blinking randomly as if the usb cable was loose. So i opened up the second keyboard and plugged it into the mac mini. again, it started working fine, but after 10-20 minutes, it stopped responding. when i mean stop responding, i mean that when you type, it types fine but after a while, it just stops. nothing shows on the screen when you type. So third times a charm right? nope. i opened the third keyboard and tried the same thing. but this time it lasted a few seconds until it just kept working intermittently. nothing is touching the usb cable. so theres no way its something bumping it because its a loose connection. just leaving it alone and you can see the blue lights just blinking randomly for all three keyboard i purchased. I warn you... DO NOT BUY THIS KEYBOARD. I repeat... DO... NOT... BUY... THIS.... KEYBOARD!

I’m using this keyboard on a MacBook. The keyboard feels fine, keys are comfortable and it’s an overall good product. It is lightweight and portable as well. There is only one issue: whenever you come back when your Mac is on sleep mode, the keyboard doesn’t turn on. I press any buttons and the light -wants to turn on- but the keyboard doesn’t turn on. I have to disconnect and reconnect for it to work again.

Nice basic keyboard. Works great with Nvidia DGC Spark.

I absolutely love this keyboard! The keys don’t stick and have a great feel. It is sturdy but light enough if I want to put it on my lap to type. Great value!

Fragiel toetsenbord met Functie toetsen F1 tot F12 niet compatible met Macbooks silicon M modellen. Ik heb ooit een toetsenbord gehad van hetzelfde merk 15 jaar geleden dat was een kwalitatief heel mooi moederbord dit heeft daar niks mee te maken.

Does the job well. No issues.

Compact, nice typing action. Don’t expect full on class at this price , but it really is a bargain and worth the money
