Great writing &art
Awesome book. Although missing Venom, this is the best of MacFarlane's Spider-man. Book also arrived in great condition and in good time.

A whole lot of 90s fun
Todd McFarlane is a far better illustrator then writer but the stories he tells here are very original and unique for Spider-man in the 90s. If your a web-head fan you'll be doing yourself no favors skipping this.

Good
I’m giving 3 stars because the book came a little damaged. It wasn’t very well protected for the delivery. Other than that I love it. I had all of them was I was a kid. Nice to have them all in one book

Klassiker. ToddMcFarlanes bestes Werk.
Klassiker.

Some of the best Spidey comics I've read
A delightful set of Spider-Man comics that give off a darker vibe while still being the Spidey we know and love. "Torment" follows a set of killings by an unknown monster that turns Peter's night into one of horror, leaving tons of questions left unanswered. "Masques" is a two-parter that features the demented Hob-Goblin and his evil worldview, thwarted by Spider-Man and a surprise showing of Ghost-Rider. "Perceptions" in another big story following mysteriously gruesome child deaths in a Canadian town that get the attention of the Bugle and Peter, along with Wolverine. This one is my personal favorite, not just because Wolvie is my favorite hero, but the darker art and mystery storytelling as we follow reporters and a few oddities of the police case make it a fun read. And the final Spidey-centric storyline "Sub-City" follows missing homeless that lead to a cult-like group in the sewers for Spidey to apprehend. The last two issues are tie-ins to an X-Force storyline involving Black Tom Cassidy and the Juggernaut, cutting the first half of the storyline out and only featuring the issue Todd Mcfarlane wrote and the follow-up X-Force issue. It's the weakest of the collection for that reason, but it does complete the issues all written and drawn by Todd Mcfarlane. These are great stories that you really don't need that much outer-comic context for. Aside from a few essential Spidey reads, like Kraven's Last Hunt, all the context is given right on the page or is unimportant to understanding what's going on. MJ and Peter ae married, the black suit/Venom are traumatic, etc. And I can't get over some of the art on these pages. Mcfarlane is a master at drawing these dark panels that really exude the '90s style well known today.
