Urbanears Luma True Wireless Bluetooth Earphones, Ear Buds - Dusty White

A new pair of urbanears. Love the lilac color. Typical Nordic style. Matched well with iPhone. Users can pause/start the song by tapping twice any earbud. It is good enough though I can still hear some crackles while using.

Unfortunately my experience with the Urbanears Luma was horrible and I decided to be a lot more careful when buying from the company again despite having had 3 headphones that are about 3/4 years old and working perfectly, no problems whatsoever, unfortunately this one is really bad quality and really hard to fit in the ear, I would ask for a replacement if they were any good but it's not worth the hasle to get a new one after the last (which was already a replacement to a faulty one) that might not work at all.

I really like these headphone. The box feels really nice to hold with the little loop. The buds themselves are very light, and just sit on my ear. No pressure or anything, and I can even run with them no problem. Sweat/rain resistant too, IPX4. The setup is easy, pick them up, put them on, pair, and go. It takes about 5s from picking the bud, putting it in and getting sound. The sound is nice and crisp, but as these are open, the bass is not deep and that's expected. Each bud can be used separately, as in you can use just one, either one. Both have mics, and the only difference is the tap controls. Left has previous song, and right has next song. When using the call functionality only one bud acts as mic, usually the first one to pulled out. Mic quality is OK, as you would expect from this type of bud. The range is pretty good, I can walk about 10m from my phone with no interruptions in my apartment. There were no drops while biking or walking about. Charging is good, just drop them in the case and there is magnet that snaps them into place. From my use so far, I got ~4 hours of continues playback. Takes about 10-15min for 50% charge, and about 1h to 100%. The case takes about 1.5h to fully charge over USB-C, which means one charger for almost all devices I have. Only a USB-A to C cable is included. I suppose if you only have an older phone that is micro usb, and no other device that can charge over USB-A, then you will need a charger. The controls are "touch" based, but I think they are using the mic on the side of each bud to detect taps. Initially I found the control hit and miss, but if you tap the mic, and not to fast or to slow, it works consistently. The standout feature, ear detection, is both the strongest and weakest point. Auto playing and pausing when you put them in, or take them off is great. It works 80% of the time. However, sometimes the feature will trigger when I tilt my head, or while I'm biking. All in all these are great, wish there was a way of toggling wear-detection. There is no app. Update: been using these for a while. Besides the ear-detection woes from time to time, their noise cancellation gets confused. During a call the other person will hear an echo of their voice. Not always, but very frustrating when it happens. Besides that the little net on one of them fell out. Not sure where, hopefully not in my ear. I really wish Urbanears would put a little more effort in their products. They always seem to be one or two steps always from greatness.

Product is great but box arrived damaged and dirty. Worried these are returned items and not brand new. Have they been used by somebody else and not cleaned?

I have owned urbanears earphones and headphones for the last 8 years, several models and these are by far the worst value for money. The controls simply don’t work when you want to skip songs or change the volume - all that ends up happening is you activate voice control and music stops playing, then you need to fetch your phone out of your pocket to sort it out. Another thing that annoyed the life out of me is the simple fact my hair touching the earphones activates voice control too! They also don’t hold in your ears very well and I was always worried I’d drop them. All in all, a massive letdown and I’m returning them today.

I have brought headphones from a urban ears in the past. First of all they always look great... but that is about it. My latest purchase the Luma in ear wireless look great. They fit comfortably in the ear. But that is where the praise ends. The mains issues are as follows: The ear phones regularly fall out of sync and have issues connecting. This happens too often and can take a few too many tries to get it all sync again. The white case easily gets scuffed, and are hard to clean. Maybe go for a a dark colour then the off white colour that I have. The touch controls are erratic and not great for much. They are either too sensitive or not at all. It proves to be frustrating. I would say they look great, but the pair I have have the above problems that make this purchase a regrettable one.

These have to be the most frustrating earbuds I’ve ever bought. Actually getting them to pair in the first place takes split second precision and moving hands faster than a Times Square ‘find the lady’ grifter. Most times with the first pairing on a 2022 iPhone SE I could only get one to connect. Follow the convoluted incantations and I could factory reset them and eventually get them to both connect. But then we keep randomly getting Siri with just the merest of gentle brushes to the side of the buds. Once Siri starts, the buds disconnect. Very little seems to convince them to connect again. Sound quality is, well, adequate I suppose. Fit is fine for my tween daughter (who has small ears and can’t find silicon tip earbuds that fit). I’m going to chop these in for some AirPod 2nd gens. My mental health is worth the 2.5x cost increase. These things are just too useless and frustrating.

Been using it now for a while and it just keeps crashing. Some day it works fine, the other day it works terrible. Still haven't figured out what causes it... Batteries full. It is just nonsense. Updates did not do any trick. Can't return it with urban ears, bought via amazon....

Öncelikle sesin gerçekten az geldiğini düşünüyorum. Fakat ürünün tek sıkıntısı bu değil, aldıktan 1 ay sonra sol kulaklık çalışmamaya başladı. Ayrıca kulaklığı kullanırken de sürekli müziği kendi kendine durduruyor veya açıyor, örneğin rüzgarlı havalarda sanırım rüzgarı dokunuş olarak algılayıp müziği durduruyordu sürekli. Kesinlikle tavsiye etmiyorum.

Amazon.com satıcısından sipariş ettim 12 saat sonra teslim edildi. cihazı aldığım gibi telefona bağladığım an %60dan 50ye düştü, 5 dakika daha kullandım 30a düştü sonra da 20ye düştü ve kapandı. kutuyla beraber 1 saat şarja taktım ve sonrasında tekrar kullanmaya başladığımda 10 dakika sonra kapandı. 1 saat boyunca kutudan kendini şarj etti ve sonra 6 dakika dayandı. yarım saat şarja taktım ve bu sefer her bir kulaklık ayrı bluetooth cihazı olarak gözükmeye başladı ve ikisini birden bağlayınca sadece birinden ses veriyordu. kullanım klavuzundaki yönergeleri takip ederek önce cihaz sıfırlaması sonrasında da fabrika ayarlarına sıfırlamayı yaptım ama yine 2 farklı cihaz olarak gözüküyordu. İade ve değişim sürecini başlattım. Bakalım Amazon Prime beni mağdur edecek mi görelim. ürünü değişime yolladım yeni ürün yolladılar bu sefer de gelen kulaklarda biri şarj olmuyordu diğeri çalışıyordu. Overall great sound quality. These are perfect for wearing around the house or in the office, with minimal background noise. However, there's absolutely no noise canceling and the shape doesn't allow for any noise blocking either. As soon as there's background noise I can't hear any lyrics or speaking, even at top volume.

Battery maximum charge is 90% low. So continuous playback lasts less than 3 hours. The other person's voice is played on his speaker during the call. I'm using two products, but considering that they're all like that, the products are not good. Don't buy it.
