JAN & JUL Wide Brim Sun Hats for Boys with Neck Flap

I bought this for several reasons for my 16 month old great- granddaughter. The image looked beautiful and reality confirms this 100%. This SMART design is truly well thought out. The style is awesome and is made with dry water-resistant fabric which protects the child’s head, and has complete neck coverage as well. And the drawstring at the back of the hat can be adjusted which widens the hat so it will fit for quite a few years which also influenced me. It also has an adjustable chin-strap which ensures the hat stays put, with easy toggle adjustment and a breakaway safety clip which can also be clipped back in with little effort. And it’s so soft, weights so little and just the thing for a child's holidays, day's outs, or for playing in the garden when the sun smiles. So this sun hat steals the show for me and comes with a quality guarantee. The hardest part is choosing which colour. Finally, my 16 month old great-granddaughter adores this hat which made my heart shine ever so bright. I am certain that you too, will experience the very same feeling!

The sun protection offered by this hat being so wide brimmed makes it an everyday essential in our household. The adjustable band helps get great value for money as will last several summers! The fun designs are great at helping spot your child in a crowd. This hat has been worn for over a year including at nursery and washed many many times and still looks new. Stains and paint wash right out! Have also purchased the next size up!

Love these hats and have bought them multiple times. Has a very wide brim which is stiffer in the front and floppy in the back, which is great for sitting in prams/cars. The shape is perfect protecting the whole of the face from the sun as well as being long enough in the back to protect the neck. The chin toggle is secure, and the adjustable size is great for growing little ones. Can get wet and be dry in no time which is especially handy for beach days. Fine to be thrown in the washing machine. Really great all round.

This hat is definitely on the pricier side! We bought it for my 4 month old son to take on holiday. I love this hat; I got my son two at the start of the summer (one to keep in the nursery bag) and have been really impressed by the quality and the way it keeps the sun off his face and nape of his neck. I erred on the side of caution with the sizing and of course it was too big, but the adjustable toggle around the crown meant he was still able to wear it comfortably whilst I’m happy he’ll get a few years out of it! I was so impressed I got my older daughter one of their bigger kid styles which she amazingly tolerates much better than other hats we’ve tried.

Absolutely lovely sun hat for my adventurous toddler. Stays on, wide rim for good coverage, and the longer back for neck cover is good too. Good price considering it has the toggle to fit growing heads. The only negative I’d give is that it makes his head sweat a bit.

No need to iron, dense shadow, flexible brim, neck is protected from the sun. You can fit it to any size. My daughter start to wear it in 10 month, now 1,8 yrs still great and will be ok till 3 yrs and more for sure. The brim is flexible. It will not crumple if you put it in a bag. Looks as new after 1 year usage. It is not cotton, but I like the material.

I didn’t know I needed it… I originally bought it and wanted to exchange it for a cotton version but the return process was complicated so I kept it, and I am glad I did. I ended up buying a cotton version too and we use the water-proof version for when my son plays in the water park. The cotton version gets wet quickly, so he doesn’t want to wear it but he is happy to keep the water repellent version on his head. Super happy. The coverage that it provides is amazing. The front doesn’t block the view but it does block the sun and I actually like that it’s sturdy. Oh, and the 6-24 months fits my almost 3 year old boy perfectly. He has a bigger than average head. I would recommend it.

I love this hat! I read sooo many reviews on different sun hats before buying this one. I’m very pleased with this hat! We live in Arizona where it’s 115 everyday in the summer and this has been the perfect hat for my 15 month old to use in the pool!! It’s lightweight, water resistant, dries quickly and adjusts to different head sizes. My son has a large head so this was a plus for me! I love that it covers his neck and shields his eyes from the harsh sun. I really feel like he is protected when wearing this!! I bought the gray color which is nice because it can hide dirt but is also light enough so it’s not getting too hot like a darker color. I have washed this hat many times and it comes out perfectly. I do let it air dry to prevent possibly shrinking. I would definitely recommend it and would/will buy another one in the future!!
