Piece of cake. Take pics of the capacitor wiring you are replacing if you are not sure. Discharge capacitors before wiring to be safe. Simple screwdriver with rubber handle will discharge. Plenty of on line help if needed.

Good price. Quick shipping. No it does not look exactly like the one in the picture, it's a better unit. If you know what you're doing and you get the right specifications, it will work just fine. Our last Amrad lasted 12 years in Texas heat.

Amrad capacitors are one of the best you’re gonna find. Built in US and solid. Note- most of them (maybe all?) are coming with a CPT terminal now. That is a compressor protect terminal. It is used when you have a hard start attached. Not gonna give wiring advice, but look at the wiring diagram on the capacitor. The CPT terminal doesn’t mean you got the wrong model (unless you did), or that it won’t work- it just means it has more capability than you need.

Perfect replacement

This is a made in the USA component that worked and is still working on a Goodman condensing unit which happens to be made in Texas, USA. Minor hold down bracket adjustment was needed since the dimensions are not identical to the OEM capacitor that originally came when the condensing unit was replaced with a new one.

I have a few rental properties so I keep a spare in case one of the units stops working. This has saved my tenants from the heat this summer as I have replaced two so far. I’ve ordered another spare to keep in stock for the next occurrence. Also, I keep a contactor on hand as well for the same reason. Great being able to buy on Amazon.
