Excellent product

It is summer time now, and I have a sweaty oily face. My old eyebrow pencil wore out, and my coloring has changed from blonde to ash blonde. I read up on eyebrow treatments, and in my research I found this product. It is simple to use, and it stays on all day and doesn't seem to wipe off when I blot the sweat off my face. It does require a fairly stiff angled brush like the one in my picture. you will make a mess if you try to put it on with anything else. I don't think that it requires a spoolie. I touched it when it came to see what kind of texture I was getting into. It is slippery, and transferred easily to my fingertip, and was difficult to wipe off. At first, I thought it had a blonde tone to it, but in a different light that was not the case. It is like a warm grey color. The stuff in the pot is quite dark and I was unsure if it was suited to my fair complexion and light ash blonde hair. My first attempt at application was a bust. I tried to brush it on thickly like I was using my eyebrow pencil, and the result was way too dark and artificial looking. I learned in subsequent applications to touch the surface of the makeup lightly with the brush, and dab it lightly in the direction of the hairs onto my eyebrows with the edge of the brush. This way, you can vary the intensity of the eyebrows from light to dark. It isn't too hard to do. I tried applying it with my glasses off because I am very nearsighted, but that did not work out well on the left side. (I am right-handed.) So now I apply it with my glasses on, and that is much easier. I just got this makeup a few days ago, so I am still working on applying it well. I really like it because you only require the one product to apply, it doesn't need primer, It comes in a small container. I think it will last a long time, and it stays on all day. Cons are that it is a bit tricky to apply, and it is a bit dark for an ash blonde, and if you travel you will have to carry a brush that has pigment on the tip. Revision: After using this product for a few weeks, I find that this product is flawed. The edge of my eyebrow brush ran out of flat places to touch it to the product and the surface became chunky. Now, it is difficult to transfer the makeup onto the brush without picking up chunks and clumps. I am not sure how to deal with this issue; it will take some thought. I like the waterproof properties of this product, but it has become difficult to apply. And this is very soon after I acquired it. I am lowering my initial evaluation from five stars to three stars.

This is a great product. The pigmentation is good, it's easy to apply and has staying power. I'm fair skinned with neutral light brown hair and a neutral skin tone. I bought the Taupe. It's perfect. Not too dark, though it's easy to build the intensity. So beware, Groucho Marx eyebrows are easy to achieve. Most light brown brow pencils and powders have a red tint on me. This taupe has no red and looks natural. I like the pot. You get tons of product for the price and it will last quite a while. The only drawback is that the top layer of pomade tends to dry out, so I sometimes have to scrape the dry bits off the top. There's so much product that even with periodically scraping of the dry layers, it will still last a long time. All considered this is a great product! Well worth the price!

I’ve been looking for something to replace brow gel that I bought years ago from a company that discontinued it. I tried the brow gel that comes with a mascara like wand. Those don’t really work for me because they don’t fill in between my sparse brows enough. I’m not a fan of pencils. Powder is ok, but this gel is exactly what I love. It goes on quickly and a little goes a long way. It fills in and looks natural, the taupe blending with my natural hair color. It stays in place all day. It’s the best brow gel ever!!

This product is the best eyebrow pomade! It is a great value, (even though it may seem a little steep) as this lasts for a very long time and a little bit goes a long way! You really do need the proper applicator brush tool, and be sure to blot before applying as the first day using this darker shade I looked like Dracula going into work. You will also will need a good eye make up remover to get this completely off at the end of the day. There are some products that I absolutely will not skimp on and make up is one of them. As I stated previously a little bit goes a long way and the one that I have (though I do not use it every day) has lasted years! I mix a little bit of the Auburn that I had gotten my hair was dark red then strawberry blonde - now that I’m back to blonde I purchased the Taupe and mix with the auburn. I will be purchasing the blonde one next, and hope to have the perfect shade for my ever changing hair colors. This product is easy to use goes on smoothly and stays put. An absolutely great value for your money!

These are a great idea! Especially when the waist of pants is a little big and you don't want a protruding belt buckle showing under your shirts.
