I only needed to dampen my curls a bit with some water in my hands to reactivate it, but I also added a tiny bit more for a fresher look and to tame any frizz I had. The hold is wonderful for the humidity, and I like that I can easily use a little more water to lighten the hold. Overall it is easy to use/portion, and performs well. I didn't get a good enough photo because I'm at work right now, but I HAD to review this from how happy I was.
