This is a combination thumb pick/flat pick. Unlike a regular thumb pick, this one has a spring that stays tight to your thumb without cutting off circulation to your thumb! An added benefit is being able to use a flat pick for hybrid picking. It adjusts instantly to your thumb and it us easy to use. They’re a bit pricey but worth it. This pick forms to the thumb so effortlessly. I recently lost 3 fingers from a work accident so I can only use my thumb to pick and this is the most intuitive thumb pick I’ve ever used. Very grateful for this product as it has given me hope to play guitar again.

This pick has changed my whole approach to a ton of songs. I can now strum with my fingers and pick with my thumb. Sounds easy but I used to put my pick between my teeth. I have given away a couple of the Black MT picks to guitar buddies because they are impressed at my ability between fingers, pick and even slide. I just orders some more because I have given so many away. Oh, and I never drop my pick anymore.

I have been using these for a month and really wanted to like these. They are designed and built well with quality materials which is why i gave 3 stars. However they dont fit my thumb. Standard XL thumbpicks fit just right. The clamp on these barely fit around my thumb but i can make it work. While the constant downward pressure from the spring should be an advantage, it quickly becomes uncomfortable because of improper fit. If they had a XXL i would consider trying again.
