Good stuff! It does the job and seems to work very well in my MK2 focus
User
Good but they lead you to believe it's the only one that works, expensive.
It works, but so does any Steering Fluid

THIS STUFF IS GREAT/ EDIT SHIPPING different
Ok, Iโve been a car guy my entire life, working on my own cars keeping them running. I used this stuff on my 2003 trailblazer with the 4.2 inline 6. It has 192k miles on it. And cold start it had a loud lifter tap and a little bit of piston slap as well until it warmed up. The lifter tap stayed (quieter) but was still there with the engine warm. Yesterday morning I changed the oil again. Did the double dose (used the 16oz can). And first start after oil change the cold start tap was 90% gone. Drove it last night and when I got home it was completely quiet at idle warm. This stuff absolutely quieted 90% of the cold start lifter noise, and completely 100% quieted down warm lifter tick. It works amazing and Iโve always been skeptical. Especially something I found on instagram reels. But try it. It really does help a lot, it is expensive but Iโll keep using it with the results. To add, it may be a placebo affect from the lifter tick going away. But throttle response seems improved, and it seems to have gained some power. Not a ton, but noticeable enough to make you happy after your first drive trying thisProlube changed shipping to Amazon, from usps priority on this platform. your better off going to their site and purchasing direct, rather then pay extra to Amazon for shipping for Amazon to not get it in time

This was for the transfer case, not the transmission...
I was changing the fluid in my transfer case. Because it's in a firm plastic container and I'm trying to pour it into the transfer case, it was very messy. If it had been in a soft enclosure, like the 75W-90 fluid for the front differential, it would have been much easier to work with. I finally got it done, but spilled about a pint of it.

Recommended fluid for my vehicle
There isn't much to say about transmission fluid: unless you really think you know better, you should probably use the exact type specified in your car's manual. Mercon V is what Ford recommended for my vehicle, and it was easy to find on Amazon and shipped fast with Prime. I could have found it for about two-thirds of the cost of the current price here (note that it may change over time online) locally, but driving would have been the easiest way to do that and I didn't want to risk doing so on low fluid. If you've never added transmission fluid before, note that you'll also need a funnel, probably one with a long, flexible spout. I used the Lumax LX-1603 Plastic Transmission Funnel. I'd also recommend having disposable gloves latex or similar gloves handy, as well as paper towels and a clean surface to set the dipstick on, but those are things many people are likely to have already. The bottle shipped well packaged (including wrapped in its own plastic bag to limit damage to other items in case the bottle were damaged in transit) as expected, and I have no problems with this item. Note again that you can probably find it cheaper locally, but the convenience of Amazon delivery was worth it for me.
