Buyer beware

I bought this item along with several glitters. I don't know if I am using it incorrectly, but in my experience it stays wet after applying glitter to it and comes off as soon as you close your mouth. I tried applying it first and then the glitter, allowing it to dry. I also tried applying the glitter and then the glue, and allowing it to dry. Both ended in failure. I have found that using a lip balm type gloss first and then applying the glitter does keep it in place thought. I would buy the glitter again.
