If I breathe on my newish Kohler white porcelain sink, it makes a mark. I can't put a mug or a mixing bowl in the sink, without leaving a dark scratch. Pots and pans have to be cleaned on a rack because they really create a mess. I was so distraught because it was new and I didn't want to use any harsh cleanser so I found this product. It works but it takes some elbow grease. I often apply some to the marks at night so it can sit overnight to make cleaning them a bit easier. I do have a slightly yellow spot that this won't touch, though, and I'm debating how to get rid of it without using something abrasive. Tea or fresh berries can yellow the sink and leave a stain the requires multi applications. I gave it 4 stars because it works most of the time but it is not an inexpensive way to keep the sink clean. I can't detect a significant odor. It's my only choice if I don't want to use something that will damage the finish of the sink.

I bought this to restore the shine to my cast iron sink, and it exceeded my expectations! I buy this Kohler Cast Iron Cleaner on repeat to clean my Kohler farmhouse apron-front sink. The surface of cast iron is not as sturdy as you would imagine even though it is a kitchen sink and you would expect it to withstand pots and pans and such to be tossed about on a daily basis. Unfortunately, it scratches easily and makes all sorts of marks even though I have protective "grills". Anyway, I buy this cleaner to try to keep my sink looking good. The three stars is because it is not a "miracle" cleaner that one can just apply and let sit for a spell to do its magic. Rather, you have to use a lot of elbow grease and a soft sponge, and even reapply a time or two before the scratches fade away. The only reason I buy it on repeat is because most other cleaners are deemed too harsh (abrasive) for the cast iron surface. It makes no sense for a kitchen sink to be this "delicate", but it is. In between I clean it with Dawn Powerwash and it does a good job but won't remove scratches. If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't buy cast iron for a kitchen sink, but I didn't know any better. But it is gorgeous and is the "wow" factor in my kitchen so I try to keep it looking good.

We have a Kohler cast iron sink with an enamel finish over it and it had some marks that wouldn't come clean with anything else. This works surprisingly well good product

Just an expensive bath cleaner . Orange scratches stayed the same after 3 applications. Bleach worked better
