Great coffee! But not a full pound, 15.87 ounces only.
Excellent! When I was little my grandfather from Beirut used to give me a little coffee. It has always been a sweet memory for me, I was small. I love strong coffee (probably because of him) and I have had the opportunity to taste quite a few different Turkish-style coffees. This is THE ONE. It has a beautiful sweet taste and really does not need sugar. (Low flame only, simmer it!) Others kind of had a flat or bitter taste. If you are looking for real Turkish coffee this is it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff! It weighs 15.87 ounces. BUT it is not a full pound.

Dark Roast, Finely Ground
Dark coffee for Greek, Turkish-style coffee makers. Used with the Electric Turkish Coffee Maker,Brentwood 800W Stainless Steel Electric Turkish Greek Coffee Maker(Silver) on a road trip, and it was fantastic. We like a dark roast, so this fit the bill. Thanks to the Amazon customer who listed the various coffees and how dark the roast is, we were able to make espresso-level coffee on-the-go. If you like a medium roast, look at the Greek coffees. About 1 tablespoon of coffee per 1/2 cup of water seemed about right. Mix it with the sugar and a smidgen of water first, to dissolve the coffee and sugar, then add the remaining water and bring to a boil. Just remember to let the coffee sit for a few minutes after you make it so the grounds sink to the bottom.

What I ordered
Isn’t what I received. The seller should change the picture of what they are selling here on Amazon, or change the name of the merchandise they are selling. There is a difference. We opened it, smelled nice. Vacuum sealed, it was fresh. Taste is bitter, Turkish coffee is easy to make. Value for money, wouldn’t purchase again thru this seller.

Wonderful coffee for boiling or espresso!
Very bold, rich flavor. Makes a lovely cup of Arabic coffee, French press, or espresso, depending on the brew method. Packed for freshness, and the bag seems to last a long time, as a bonus!

Odd peculiar flavor for a Turkish coffee.
Brewing this coffee identically to two other brands (one medium roast Turkish; one dark roast Armenian coffee "Turkish grind"), the flavor (though somewhat like a French Roast) had a peculiar off-putting essence to it. The flavor of this coffee is not 'rotten' or undrinkable, but it really was just short of terrible, ... just short of. I double checked to make sure it was NOT the grind containing cardamom - it is their 100% coffee version (I have some cardamom Turkish coffee of another brand - no similarity). You can drink it, but it will leave you wanting good tasting coffee (regular or Turkish). After trying it about a dozen different times, I could take it no more and tossed the bag out.

Turkish coffee is the bomb.
It used to be hard to find. But this coffee is so tasty. Get a small pot. Water to an inch and a 1/2 from the top. Bring to boil add 6 small teaspoons of coffee. Stir well. Put Aside to settle. Yum. I make it ahead of time and microwave reheat later
