Can you remove these after sticking them down and will they remove paint from a painted wall if stuck there and removed?

I purchased a set of these but need longer. Can I connect another strip to the red and black wires at the end?

Connecting a longer light strip will greatly reduce the brightness of the end of the light strip due to the problem of voltage drop. So we do not recommend you to do this.
