JanSport Superbreak Backpack Forge Grey T5016XD

My son, in high school, gets this same backpack every year. The quality of the brand is fantastic! This backpack lasts all year (and then some) even with him carrying his heavy books, throwing it on the ground and setting it wherever. We have not had any issues with the zippers, fraying, holes, stitching, etc.... it literally lasts all year without any fall apart. He likes the gray one - it goes with everything and it hides dirt very well. Very satisfied with this year after year. It's a classic we'll keep coming back to!

I bought this backpack for my kid & he likes it too much. It the right size & quality for his use.

It's hard to buy any other brand backpack after owning Jansport. They are sturdy, easy to clean, and have variety of sizes, shapes, styles that serve any purpose. I ordered this one for my daughter who is a freshman in high school. She said it is perfect size. Being the one who pays for it, I appreciate seeing the Lifetime Guarantee tag hanging off the zipper when she pulled it out of the bag. I can't vouch for how Jansport lives up to their guarantee, I've honestly never had to use it because none of their bags have fallen apart. The only one I've gotten rid of, I gave to my older daughter who ruined it by... let's just say the after effects of a night out drinking too much. It probably could have been cleaned, but she was 21 and lazy, so... As far as this backpack, my daughter is pleased with the color, it looks just as it did online.

Love the size and durability of the bag. Stores don’t sell this kind of bag anymore. I have one for over a decade and the zipper broke on the small pocket size so I need a new one for work. Lost my receipt so I couldn’t take it back to the store. 😢

I used this as my personal item on a flight and crammed quite a bit into it. However, without a hip belt, it weighed very heavily on my shoulders which is probably to be expected. Seems well made and sturdy but very basic for the rather high price.

Actual Jansport backpack. Gray color true to picture, has held up great so far. Zippers are good quality.

The zippers broke in the first few days of use. Really bad quality. We didn't use it until after the 30 days had passed to the seller wouldn't help or refund. But I filled out the warranty paper on jansport.com and shipped it to the company. They replaced the zipper for free.

My husband badly needed a new backpack so when I saw this on Amazon, I had to get it. It is nicce quality and he likes the interior pockets and the size is perfect for him on his trip to work and back.

Love jansport backpacks! I’ve been using this for a year already and it’s still in perfect condition!
