Love this Henna, and it’s super economical!
If you want a healthy way to color your grays and have some skill with doing very thin parts of your hair and applying color, Khadi is an excellent and cost-efficient choice! I have used other hennas in the past that took 4 hours before you could wash it out. With Khadi it takes me half an hour to apply the color (I focus on the front and top because that covers all my gray), 1 hour with my head covered in plastic wrap and a turban towel, then I rinse it off. The time you keep it on dictates how dark it colors. You need to wait 24 hours to wash it with shampoo, so I plan for a day when I’m going to be home. At about $24 I get 2 colorings per box and I do this about every 6 weeks. In my photos you can see a tad of gray starting to show and the color on the rest of the hair, so you can see how well it covers. I’m aiming for honey colored highlights and it tends to that a few days later. You can also see the lighter strands mixed in my brown hair. Not bad for $12 a session. Highly recommend!

Perfect! With a note re instructions
I am over the moon about this product. I'm mid70s with hair that has thinned and faded to a mousy brown with a few scattered strands of gray. I used Sunset, left it on for an hour and a half and am back to my old dark strawberry blonde self. Could not be happier. It turned the scattered gray hairs orange-y, which looks nice at this point, but as time goes by, if more gray comes in, I will likely mix Sunset with Medium Blonde. Also, because my hair is short I used half the packet with the suggested 5oz of water and it was very runny, making it hard to apply. I suggest adding water slowly to get a creamy paste consistency.

Absolutely loved this product - I have used powder henna before but this one seemed quite easy and gave a lovely sun-kissed colour and after 2 washes so far - no colour fade. Made my hair soft too and didn’t dye my sculp like other dyes have.

This is great stuff, it works on my very white hair. I get compliments all the time. It is easy to apply, smells natural and it good for the hair, what more could I ask for?

This is a great conditioner and lasts well for around two weeks of cold water washing to retain colour. It sadly washed out quickly and I tried many different ways of applying it and left it on for 5 hours last time and has now washed out. My hair is naturally that colour and is showing greys which show me its not lasted well. Otherwise if you have time to apply this every two weeks, and one packet can be used over a period of time, for roots, a few hours as a leave in toner adds body to the hair as it feeds the scalp and hair. I have to apply regularly for it to maintain itself and divide the amount to last and get about 4 sessions from one pack over a two month period. Have tried various shades and still testing and experimenting as im allergic to permanent and artificial so have to use natural. As a natural product it has other benefits and isn't a hair dye. No bad smell as with some natural products of a similar nature.
