The Max 300A Continuous Duty Solenoid Relay by Lucky Seven has been a solid addition to my Humvee setup. When you’re dealing with higher current applications, reliability isn’t optional—and this unit has delivered exactly that. From the start, it’s been consistent and dependable. It engages cleanly every time with no hesitation, which is critical when you’re running accessories that require steady, reliable switching. No intermittent issues, no weak engagement—just solid performance. Build quality is what you’d expect from a heavy-duty solenoid. Spend the extra money and buy decent ones, the back jam nuts were loose , when tightening the outer main power nut the unit just turns on its own, I bought two and the both do it, poor quality.

it works as intended but needs a diode between the switch poles so it doesn't feed a little power when turned off.

I was worried about quality after reading reviews. This relay is equal to Trombletta 974-1215-010 12V/Cont except you will need to use M5 nuts instead of 3/16" for coil (included in package). I left it on 14.5V DC for 24 hours and coil current didn't increase nor relay heated up enough to melt plastic. It takes 0.6A vs 0.8A Trombletta - so, it runs cooler. Don't unscrew nuts already installed on relay! (I took old one apart). Relay came with set of nuts in a separate bag inside the box. Make sure you have 14.5V or less on small bolted contacts of your old relay before you purchase this 12V DC version. Some negative reviews sound weird... There are 24V and 36V versions of the same relay. So, they probably put 12V relay in 24-36V control.

My Jeep sits a lot so I used this to isolate my radios, switches, etc when the key is off to avoid battery drain. Works great and it’s been on there over 2 years

It shorted and melted the plastic bushings, not sure if the load was too much or an installation issue
