T'Ai Chi Ch'Uan and Meditation

Master Da Liu has written a profound book that I will refer to again and again. I believe this was the last book he wrote and it's content builds on his previous written works which i would highly recommend to anyone interested in tai chi, the I Ching, and mediation. Like his other books, Da Liu's approach to health is practical and yet deeply spiritual. He only teaches what he had direct experience with. Take a walk with this taoist master who was clearly not interested in being a "guru", but rather deeply concerned for people's total health.

Superb book that clearly explains the ideas and makes them practical.

Da Liu presents a solid background of Chinese history on the evolution of Tai Chi and meditation, as interlocking techniques for bodily health and spiritual growth. He talks about energy in relation to individual Tai Chi movements, as well as providing information on the flow of energy through the systems of the body. The book was published when he was 80, but has a fluid, modern feel to it. I recommend this for those who do Tai Chi and practice meditation, or are just interested in the connection between them.

This book provides a classic treatment of many important aspects of T'ai Chi and energy meditation. Easy enough to follow and an excellent book to add to your library.

Tai chi chuan and meditation is a welcoming book for those interested in the healthful aspects of the art. I especially like the breathing techniques and meditation emphasis.

This book has always been a favorite of mine, this is the second copy I have purchased over the years and it is in very good conditions

Rare information concerning the Chinese way, the how and why,along with the history behind this thinking. This is a jewel of a book. GD
