There's More to Life Than This: Healing Messages, Remarkable Stories, and Insight About the Other Side from the Long Island Medium

This book was very exciting for me. I loved it. I decided to read the "bad" reviews. My review is mostly in response to those readers. This is a gifted woman, who had to go through a painful birth process, in order to express her gift, and make it useful to others. We can judge her, not by her book, which is fabulous, but by the fruits of her work. How many countless people has she healed, and, given hope to thousands more. She is leading us right to God and strengthening our faith. This book is for her fans, but as a new fan, it is a book of truth and information about a spiritual world that we all came from, but many know little about. She answered years of questions for me and confirmed my many experiences. Her book also provides support to those who are at home, having "strange" experiences and who think, or whose family's think, they might be crazy. She is telling it is okay, not abnormal...she is telling us all, to come out, to be bold, to express what we know. Her show's popularity tells us, that it is time, it is relevant to this era of fear and hostility in the world. We can be cynical intellectuals, "do you believe THAT stuff?" "it is a scam," but you may see her out when you cross over, and she will say to you, with a loving smile, "I told you so." Why not have an open mind, and consider what she says to be true? Why not try on your own, to talk with a lost relative, to pray for their soul's growth, and, most importantly, to pray to have the truth revealed to you? It can't hurt, and is, a by far, a better way to live...hopeful, and not disbelieving in anything that does not have certified proof sticker on it. The proof is in your own experience, if you let it happen. Thank you Theresa...you have made my world a happier place. God is in heaven and all is "right" in the world..well not right, but a place where to grow through the lessons learned.

I am a huge fan of Theresa's show and I watch it as often as I can so I'm sure I am a bit biased. But this book was way more than I expected. Theresa not only shares stories of how she helped people with her gift, she also helps you understand how her gift works and how you, too, can develop and grow your own connection with Spirit. I began wondering if I had some sort of sixth sense a number of years ago when my father passed away. I had many very vivid dreams of him over the years. I felt him hug me and I could hear his voice as clear as if he was standing right beside me. It was comforting to have dreams like that, but I thought that's all they were...just dreams of my dad. Then my mother passed away in 2010 and I had a variety of vivid dreams of her as well. Again, it felt as if I was actually talking to her and I got to hug her. Then a couple of years passed and I started watching Theresa's show and that's when I realized that I most likely was connecting with my parents in my dreams. When I found out that she wrote a book I expected it to be full of stories similar to what you see on her show. But it offers so much more. Reading her book has helped me understand how our loved ones are still with us and guiding us on our journey through our time on earth. There are tons of skeptics out there, but that is not me. I have always believed that connecting with people who have passed was possible. I just never really understood how it all worked. With Theresa sharing how her gift works I have a much better understanding of her ability and I also learned that not all mediums or psychics have the same experience. If you have a curiosity about connecting with those who have passed and/or how it all works or happens then I highly recommend this book. If you are a skeptic you might want to read it, too. You might learn something that will open your mind a bit.

I lost my dad in June and my mom a month ago. I am reading a book on grief ("On Grief and Grieving") which is a very good book and helpful. I ordered Theresa's book because I thought she would have a lighter message and so I could learn more about where my parents are.... I figured that is what she meant in the title. Funny thing is I was sure they were in a good place ... maybe I am feeling lost. No maybe ~ I am. I just knew that when I read Theresa's book it would give me hope. She always warmed my heart and I knew she was a good person every time she gave peace to someone who was suffering on her show. Her book goes into more depth about all the topics I needed to know. When I hit page 116 this morning, I went into complete meltdown. She was speaking about how our loved ones are not suffering anymore once their soul leaves their bodies. I worried about, still do because I was not with either parents when they passed ... I wish I could have, but dad lived too far for me to get to on time and mom, although she was very sick (Alzheimers and cancer) we thought she had more time ~ she was such a trouper. EMS was called and the end was messy (they tried so hard to save her), but I wanted to make sure she didn't feel anything. So this gave me some peace, so I think it is also helping me with my grieving. I am still reading, but I will be finished in the next couple days ~ unfortunately. When I read her book, I can hear her voice ... it's like she is talking to you and I can't help but smile, so I will miss that. Thank you Theresa for writing a book that answers so many of my questions in that lighthearted way of yours that gives me comfort and an understand of The Other Side. Now this is a biggy .. I also reevaluated my feelings about God. The way you described God made feel more open to "him". Hopefully, I will see you in person someday. Blessings to you and your family <3

I absolutely loved this book. It’s a great read and for readers who are unsure about the afterlife and spirits, maybe it would change how you think

Ich bin absolut zufällig über Theresa gestolpert und habe einen Ausschnitt ihrer Show gesehen (denke, das sollte man tun, gibt es auch im Internet, wenn man das Buch lesen will). Sie ist natürlich faszinierend in dieser Mischung aus Bling & Big Hair und spirituelles Medium - aber durch ihre mitfühlende, sympathische Art ist sie für mich so glaubwürdig, dass ich es faszinierend finde zu sehen, was und wie sie macht, was sie macht. Ich denke immer noch, sie könnte das vielleicht schaffen, indem sie schlicht eine so große Empathie-Fähigkeit hat, dass sie Gedanken lesen kann dadurch und nicht WIRKLICH mit den Toten Kontakt aufnimmt. Da bin ich mir nicht ganz sicher. Aber ich bin mir sicher, dass sie es ernst meint und dadurch, dass ihre Wirkung so heilend für die Menschen ist, ist es vielleicht auch egal. Ihr Buch war spiritueller und religiöser als ich erwartet habe, aber sehr schön zu lesen und sehr persönlich und dabei sehr unterhaltsam! Sie ist "trotz" ihres katholischen Glaubens, absolut offen für alle Religion und nicht verurteilend - das ist einfach toll und macht sie sehr stark und überzeugend. Ich lese eigentlich, seit meiner Zeit mit 14 nach meiner "Nebel von Avalon Phase" keine spirituelle Literatur - aber nach dem Buch dachte ich, vielleicht mal damit anzufangen.

After recently losing my mum, I was looking for answers as well as peace, comfort and hope. I would read at the end of the day and it never failed that with each chapter I found something that I needed to give me hope and peace and to believe that my mum is happy and still with me. I know some people may not believe this type of thing and even those of us who do believe in an afterlife and God can still be sceptical or question or faith when we suffer such a huge loss. But the bottom line is that I felt better after reading this book than before. And I feel very good that my mum is with God, full of joy and no longer suffering.
