Behringer CRAVE Analog Semi-Modular Synthesizer with 3340 VCO, Ladder Filter, 32-Step Sequencer & Poly Chain

Very adaptable synth . The Crave can do most sounds from great acid bass's to evolving drones . It has plenty of knobs for tweekers and many switched to alter the basic sounds . Not to mention the patching capabilities . Its very good value for money but don't really expect to use it as a performance synth . No presets ! I found it very solid and well made and easy to use

Absolutely brilliant piece of kit. Required calibration before use which is fine and this thing sounds amazing. Being a synth DIYer and this being semi Modular, this is perfect. Steep learning curve with the sequencer but again, worth the time. 👍👍👍

4 stars because mine came without instructions and online help is terrible. The synth is a brilliant starter synth with a look into the world of modular synths as its semi modular. Can be played without plugging in a cable. Easy to learn on as there are some very good educational videos on youtube concerning this synth. There is a series of these synths that will easily connect to each other. Doesn't cost an arm and a leg like most synths.

Had lots of hardware synths in the 80s, including some classics, which when looking at the prices of some of these, makes me cry! Been mainly making software only music for 20 years or so, until recently when I decided to investigate getting back into hardware again. Had seen lots of videos on YouTube and I was blown away by the scope of the Crave and it's low price. So pleased I took the plunge as it really is an excellent mono synth. It has taken me a good while to get used to physical knob twiddling, but it so much more satisfying having a physical piece of equipment compared to soft synths on a PC screen. There was a pretty steep learning curve for me and I certainly had to get my head around Oscillators, envelopes and LFOs again. There are loads of videos and information on the Internet though and before long I was happily losing hours of my life with this little orange beauty. The Arp and the Sequencer are particularly excellent and although things are not quite as intuitive as I think they should be, I soon got to grips with most of the functions. For a couple of days I did struggle to get more than noise out of my Crave, but now I'm really starting to see the benefits of putting in a little time to learn this instrument properly. Excellent quality and hats off to Behringer for creating such a flexible and fun instrument.

Very good build quality and excellent patching potential

It's ok but overrated. It will rely heavily on external effects to sound interesting. The patchbay may help to open it up and add a bit of life but after 10 mins I was bored and quickly realised it's limitation would annoy me. The sequencer and operation just felt clunky. It's well built though and all credit to Behringer for bringing synthesis to the masses. If you can afford to spend a couple more £'s and aren't bothered about the sequencer, my advice would be to get the Kobol Expander, even in it's raw state it's sound is absolutely huge and once you start patching it's amazing. The crave in comparison is like something you'd find free in a cereal packet. Fun for newbies and kids but don't believe the hype, there's better out there for not much more.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this product. Build quality is excellent, metal top casing, so quite sturdy, knobs have no wobble and feel quite solid when turning. It also sounds amazing, superb basses, leads, plucks etc and some external effects like delay and reverb and it is stunning. Yes, I know it's a clone, but for the price, you simply can't beat it. Only thing that is annoying is the small 1/8th inch audio output, a 1/4 inch would have been so much better, and wouldn't have increased the overall cost too much. So in summing up, well done Behringer for producing a great little synth that punches well above its weight.

vraiment excellent, un de mes synthés semi-modulaire préféré, parfait pour créer des lignes de basses ou lead avec une efficacité parfaite. Facile à utiliser soit en fonction clavier soit en fonction pas à pas mais prendre son temps pour le connaitre pour une utilisation totale. Midi, USB, sortie principale jack 6.35 mm, munie de son propre clavier et de son séquenceur, une belle copie du Moog Grandmother.

This is an amazing bargain in the world of analog synths. Small but powerful with a well designed layout. Patch bay is there so you can really get creative with your sound design.

cihazın ton kalitesini çok beğendim tek oscilatörlü bir cihaz bu soundu biraz kısıtlıyor. Ama yarı modüler olmasıda çok keyifli ve sequencerda olması bir avantaj. Behringerin synthesizerlarını fiyat performans olarak çok kaliteli ve uygun buluyorum. Amazonda ayrıca çok güzel kargoluyor. yalıtımı vs kusursuz geldi.

ベリンガーのシンセは初めてで、作りとか心配だったが、それなりにしっかりできているし、パッチングの入門には価格も含めてとても良い。 シーケンサーもついているのが良い。 音色がメモリーできたら最高だったが、アナログなのでそこは我慢で。 音色はものすごく特徴あるわけではないがシンプルなので色々研究できると思う。 ドライバーなしでUSBでパソコンと繋げられる。 １万円台のころに買えなかったのが残念だが、中古で高額になる前に買えて良かったです。
