Dragon Ball Z/DBZ Evolution Starter Deck (Random Personality)

My husband and I are dragonball fans. My husband recently got introduced to Magic tcg through a friend of ours. Being a huge dragonball fan, I wanted to give this a try. These starter decks are great for beginners! My husband and I ordered 2 starter decks(hoping we'd get different personalities, and we did!). We started learning it last night using the rulebook that came with it and a little help from youtube. At first it seems complicated, but if you remain patient and go through it step by step, it is worth it! This game is a lot of fun! We are looking to order more decks here shortly. I recommend this for any beginner.

I mean, they're awesome cards, I love card games, I'm teaching my 7 year old how to play because I turned her into a massive dbz fan as much as her mom didn't want me to. It's a little bit tough for her to get, but she's coming around. The only thing that stinks is, I've bought 6 of these starter decks because I bought 2 and got 2 android 18 decks. Bought 2 more and got another android 18 and an android 17. So I bought 2 more and got another android 17 and finally a goku. It would have been nice to get a bit more variety, and the glossy foil type cards are fairly curved which kinda stinks, but they are really neat cards with art from the anime. The game is super fun. Just be prepared to buy more than a handful of starter decks if you want a specific one because there is no sure way to know what you're getting. Also, you aren't getting the cards with the actual dragonballs on them, so don't think you are. Gotta get booster packs for that.

I order the starter deck for my friend and I to get in to this card game. Took a little bit to learn, but man it is fun. Ended up ordering more cards and some booster backs to add some diversity to our games.

My husband loves them! He did everything backwards though lol. He bought the booster packs thinking they were what these were until I found this. Word to the wise, buy the decks first, then get the booster packs :)

Nice pack and a good price

I saw the decks package was a bit damaged and was worried. It looked like it had been stepped on. Card set is good, but all my hero cards (the smaller pack inside with the special cards) were heavily bent. They look nice, but the bend makes them not even fit to play with or put in sleeves.

I disliked getting a random hero when I wanted a villain to counter the good.
