Probably the best kit assembly children's desk on the market at the moment. Far superior to the many particle board and pin kit furniture on the market. It is more modern and useful in design then the traditional childrens school desk as well. Light weight, yet very durable and rugged.Quality: Outstanding finish on all parts, paint, trim, fit, design. All metal parts have superb paint finish. All plastic parts and trim are without defect or residual molding splash. The drawer is fitted to ball bearing slider rails, which slides smoothly so there should never be any issues with the drawer seating or misalignments over time. All Fasteners and parts all go together with precision and are well manufactured.Ease of Assembly: Excellent. The kit is extremely well packaged and organized. All the fasteners are well labeled. Instructions are clear, with excellent diagrams. The only fault I found was that the actual components are called out by label in the instructions but all the metal pieces lack labels to correspond, so you end up reviewing the instructions closely for parts where there two, but they are left/right (such as the slider rails for the drawer. But since the instructions and diagrams are very clear, this is really a very small issue. Took about 30 minutes to assemble and test/adjust for fit for my daughter.Comfort and integrity of design: Outstanding. The chair is an extremely comfortable sculpted design that my daughter says is very comfortable. The ergonomics of the design is excellent. All the parts are extremely rugged and will last for years of the kind of day to day abuse that children can and will inflict on a product. Seriously, you will likely never see any age/wear related defects with this product... unless you manage to back over it with your car.Adjustment range: Excellent. Both the chair and desk have clear and easy to read and understand adjustment indicators on each leg. While the desk is designed for ages 3-10 (per the manufacturer), in reality it is better in my view to describe it in terms of physical height of the child. I say this because this desk will work very well for body height ranges of 45" to 68". This is an excellent range of adjustment and insures that this well made desk will serve useful life in terms of several years.Really.. this is almost the perfect product in terms of a children's desk. The only real design flaw in my view is that you adjust the height by pulling up on either the chair or desk and there are fixed click points for each setting. To reset it, you pull the height all the way past the top setting and then it will slide down and reset to the lowest setting. While this is an excellent way to do it, it does mean that if you child is lifting the chair to move it around, it may cause the height adjustment to move up to higher set points. This is a small oversight in the design, and is easily addressed by simply applying some clear packing tape on the inside wall of the chair legs once you have it set to the desired height, as this is sufficient to prevent any accidental changes to height setting on the chair. Since you won't change it more then once or twice a year as the child grows, it's a simple fix to manage.The biggest issue I think buyers will have with this desk is that it will often be out of stock on Amazon. But maybe as it's popularity rises, there will be larger inventory. There were only 4 left in stock when I ordered, and they are now out of stock with no restock date. So I am extremely glad I ordered when it was in stock. That said, there are several similar versions and color choices being sold via Amazon, and the parts clearly look in the photos like they all originate from the same manufacturer, so given the quality and popularity, I'm sure there will be lots of choices in the future.

Bought this for my son, took a while to assemble but is very stable. Great color

This is our second desk like this. I homeschool and we bought one originally for my younger son who needed a slanted to surface to help his writing and fine motor skills. This worked awesome. My 8 year son really like it and we ended up getting him one. He loves that he can raise and lower it so easily. He raises it and stands at his desk to do some of his work or can pull up a big swiss ball and sit and do his work if he doesn't feel like sitting still in his regular chair. It's also great that the desk tray can store their own pencils, crayons, markers, and help aids. They hang their water bottles on the side on the clip. We love the little cut out on the top of the desk on the side. My boys keep pencils in one side and an error in the other. These desks are pretty quick to put together (30 min max) and will last years. The chair seat is a little long for my kids so we got seat cushions and we tied them to the back of the seat so it acts as a back rest. I also put a big stretchy elastic band around the back their chair to help the pad stay in place. With the $5 seat cushions from walmart, their backs can actually rest against the pad and they are more ergonomically correct in a sitting position rather than slouching. Overall, these have definitely been worth the money and they truly will grow with our boys.

Great desk for my 4 yr old niece! She loves it!

I bought these to homeschool my children and they have held up for 3 yrs and still going. I love they way the can change the height on both the desk and the chair. The drawer slides perfect and the tilt of the desk makes it easy for them to write without hunching over. My kiddos are 9 and almost 11 and have plenty of years use left for them. Super easy to assemble too.

Pain in the a** to assemble. The instructions were had the benefit of illustrations, but some of them were vague or confusing. None of the large parts were labeled. It took me two hours to put together and I had to re-do things several times. It's a great product, but instructions should be clearer and the parts actually labeled. As for positives, the height adjustment is super easy to use, and I like that the top of the desk can be locked in the "up" position. The drawer is nice and spacious too. I would recommend it for your kiddos, but be aware that assembly will take up the better part of an afternoon.

I have a gigantic office desk with two 29 inch monitors and i like to sit some distance from the screens. i actually purchased this desk for myself. I was having a lot of trouble finding a desk that was just the right height for my needs. I am 5 foot 4 so I wanted a normal sized desk but it needed to slide under my large desk when not in use. The height adjusts perfectly to my chair - having a drawer to keep my glasses, pen, notepad, remote controls etc has been soo helpful! and the size of the tabletop is perfect for a large gaming keyboard and mouse! When not in use I easily slide it under my large office desk - completely out of sight. I don't use the chair but it's very sturdy, even for an average adult. (My 190lb boyfriend - 6ft2 sits on it and feels stable!)If you are getting this for a young child or even for some type of set up like i am using it for, i highly recommend it. It cleans up nicely and is very comfortable and sturdy! Such a great purchase. I would recommend it to friends / family and anyone who wants a great desk at a nice price.
