Cheap fabric quality, finish, and details. Disappointing from Dockers!
A very poor quality product in comparison to the last batch of D3 Khaki's that I purchased from Dockers. On a side by side comparison with an old pair of Dockers D3's, here are the major differences: - Fabric finish on the old pants is smooth and ready to wear out of the dryer. The new pants are wrinkled and rough feeling to the hand. Same batch of laundry! - Fabric on the new seems coarse compared to the old. - Simple turned waistband on the new, stitched in, high quality fabricated waistband on the old. - Button closure on the new, button and clasp on the old. - Coarse and thin pocket fabric on the new, quality pocket fabric with a woven pattern on the old. - Through stitched hems on the new, blind stitched hems on the old. The new pants are cheap, and look cheap. It is unfortunate to see Dockers delivering such a poor product! I would gladly pay more for the old quality.

Poor Quality with Cloud Specifically. Otherwise great.
So, I have probably at least 8 pairs of these pants I got through Amazon, in varying colors. They fit well, look professional enough for my business casual work environment, and are the right balance of price and toughness... until now. I purchased a pair of "Cloud" color in November and threw it in the rotation. I wore it to work once and got home and noticed a tear towards the crotch of the pant, along the seam, but not a traditional tear. I figured maybe I just sat a funny way or something happened and I didn't notice. Chalked it up to bad luck as I'd never had a problem before. So, fast forward a month or so and I decide I liked the color so I order another pair. I wore them immediately the next day, after putting them through the wash, and again came home and noticed a tear in the same spot. I'd immediately though I'd accidentally put on the old pair that had the tear. Nope. Same tear pattern almost exactly in the second pair of pants. I'm convinced at this point that they came that way and I just didn't notice, as it isn't a gaping hole, and not something you can really see when wearing it. I was at my desk all day today and did nothing that could be confused as strenuous, so there's no way I ripped them at work. Oh well. As far as size, I have to order a little larger around the waste than I'd prefer in order to have it fall over my quads (if you lift weights/ride bicycles in a serious manner you may want to do the same) Edit: I want to add, Amazon has been amazing with my experience with these pants. They're replacing them (going to check new pair before I wear them) and I'll send these two pairs back. This is why, despite having stores nearby, I choose to go with Amazon.

Quality NOT Consistent / Different Qualities Received / Possibily a Hit or Miss In Terms of Craftsmanship
I am not sure how to review these pants... but something is definitely wrong with the quality and craftsmanship. I have ordered several pairs, in different colors, of Dockers D3 pants. Each pair received, have had a single button for the closure and a blue-colored band inside the waist. None of the other colors have had any problems however, I have ordered 2 pairs of the "Fog" colored pants in the same year. Each pair, ended up wearing down a lot around the knee section of each leg, to the point a large hole/tear had developed. I alternate between colors each week but for some reason, these Fog colored D3s have quality issues. Since I really like this color, I had to order another pair. My third pair arrived yesterday and the pants are completely different - The enclosure is now a button and metal hook, the band inside the waist is now orange instead of blue. The pants material also seems much heavier in terms of quality. I have always been a fan of Dockers and I now have D3s that have a single button, blue-colored band inside the waist, and D3s that have a button, metal hook, and orange-colored band inside the waist spanning several colors, some in the same color. The quality of the latter, is much more higher quality, rugged, and seems to last. I do not know what is happening with the quality of Dockers D3 styled pants but Amazon should be investigating this quality inconsistency. Because as a consumer, when you order from Amazon, it should not be a hit or miss what kind of quality you are going to receive.

Very comfortable, but prepare to get them hemmed
Title says it all. These pants are definitely comfortable, professional, and has a dressy enough look for a business casual (read: not wearing wool slacks) environment. But the other reviewers are spot on - they're easily an inch too long. The legs are also a bit on the wide side. I don't really mind, it's not like the wide leg baggy jeans from the 90s or anything. But compared to, say, skinny jeans, these have a lot of room. I normally wear a 32" waist, but due to *ahem* a little weight gain in the last 6 months or so, I went with a 33" waist. Fits just a little looser than my other 32" pants, so if you're unsure, go up on the waist just a bit. All in all, I'm happy with the pants and went ahead and bought a few pairs in different colors. With a little money spent on alterations, I'm quite pleased, and hope to wear these pants for quite some time.
